ball junkie Posted August 6, 2009 Report Posted August 6, 2009 Do you go conventional with Brandon Bass? Do you continue with the smallball theme that worked last year and start Ryan Anderson? Knowing Marcin Gortat wants to prove his mettle and that he can be sucessful at that position(PF) do you try the twin towers line-up? Quote

richnba Posted August 6, 2009 Report Posted August 6, 2009 Bass, most likely I would say. Or if Stan wants to keep the 3 pt shooter in there, he might throw Ryan Anderson in there. So, let me recant, I believe Anderson may be the most realistic option, simply judging by our style of play. Quote
VinceCarter4life Posted August 6, 2009 Report Posted August 6, 2009 the Cavs will be tough without Rashard. But I'm more nervous about the 3 spot, seeing as I dont feel comfortable with Pietrus/Barnes starting at the 3 without Shard in the lineup. Quote

That's who I went with Rich, Ryan Anderson...I think the 2nd year player is gonna get a chance to show his mettle... Quote
Charlston Campos Posted August 6, 2009 Report Posted August 6, 2009 I think Anderson should start. See what he's capable of as a starter. I think Brandon Bass would do real good if he starts, but im just curious as to how Anderson will perform. Quote
VinceCarter4life Posted August 6, 2009 Report Posted August 6, 2009 I don't think Bass will perform as well without Rashard at the 3. Quote

VaBchMagicFan Posted August 6, 2009 Report Posted August 6, 2009 Bass will start, the first 10 game will be tough. The schedule is hard at the beginning. We could easily go 5-5 or maybe even 4-6 to start the year. This suspension almost certainly means not the best record in the NBA. LA and Boston healthy might only lose 12-14 games all year. Quote
Natmayo Posted August 6, 2009 Report Posted August 6, 2009 Ryan Anderson Start Pietrus or Barnes at the 3, and put Ryan in for offensive purposes. Quote
Noonskadoodle17 Posted August 6, 2009 Report Posted August 6, 2009 Who cares we have Vince Muther Truckin Carter.....haha no seriously I say Bass. Quote
