we lose this game 208-43 because the lakers are the best team in the history of organized sports and the magic stumbled and bumbled their way into the finals like a drunk girl trying to find the toilet before she pukes. Also, i am basing this prediction on one game and completely ignoring the other 100 or so games from this season because that is what a smart basketball fan does.

oh, also...jameer nelson is going to cost us this series because he makes everyone else miss their shots. Sure, he shot better than any of our starters, but all the bad stuff that happened was because he played. AJ would have bravely led us to victory.

This summarizes my experiences after game 1 all in one sarcastic response.

Keys defensively:

1. Be aggressive with Kobe: don't be afraid to get in his face and pressure him every time he touches the ball. It also wouldn't hurt to throw in the occasional double, especially when he's posting up a smaller Courtney Lee. Furthermore, you can't sag off of him - he's not Lebron - he'll kill you with his jump shot.

2. Don't be so quick to help: The triangle thrives off of finding open players from defenders helping off their guy. We need to play the Lakers straight up because they're getting wide open jump shots and dunks from our defenders leaving. The Lakers are the kind of team that baits you into helping. The Magic need to fight their instincts and not be so quick to leave their man.

If Kobe wants to take 34 shots again, let him. We need to make sure we stop everyone else from getting easy buckets. Gasol in the post against Shard is supposed to be a liability, but Pau is so soft to me that I don't see him taking advantage of it. I say give Shard a chance to play him without a double and see if Pau can do anything.

Keys offensively:

1. MAKE SHOTS: Shooting 29.8% is a great way to get embarrassed by anyone, let alone the Lakers in a finals game. Stay with what's gotten us here so far and make the shots when they come. Don
