Roadrunnerz45 Posted June 1, 2009 Report Posted June 1, 2009 ive lost all respect for him. ok, going through the dancers is 1 thing but publicly saying you aint gonna shake your opponent's hands after you get beaten is another. its just a poor sport. i have read on the web some people are actually defending him for his actions. cmon!
PEC Posted June 1, 2009 Report Posted June 1, 2009 Now he is saying he did sent Howard an email it was almost the last thing he said after saying he's not sure about signing an extension with the cavs. James said he sent an e-mail to Howard following Saturday's game. Then the right after this he finished the interview with this: "It's hard for me to congratulate somebody after you just lose to them," he said. "I'm a winner. It's not being a poor sport or anything like that. If somebody beats you up, you're not going to congratulate them. That doesn't make sense to me. I'm a competitor. That's what I do. It doesn't make sense for me to go over and shake somebody's hand." I never understood how the losing team would go over and hug the winning team. A handshake and move on. It's not a freaking love fest. But you have to be a sportsman, say nice game, shake hands and move on.
