jedimindtricks Posted April 1, 2009 Report Posted April 1, 2009 Why does he always do this every random game? He will just become a passive offensive turtle hiding in his shell during the game. This was a MAJOR complaint at WKU and even in his NCAA tourny game against UCLA he was like this. I love Lee, and when he actually plays and shoots on offense, he is money. Yet, sometimes he decides to divulge and take the back seat. It gets frustrating some times. And by the way he is the definition of FINESSE. The epitome of it. The way he moves and plays is like an art. I have never seen anyone move with such fluidity in my life. Quote

ChevyBallinHot Posted April 1, 2009 Report Posted April 1, 2009 I didn't see the game until 7 min left in the 4th and I was wondering why was Pietrus still in...C Lee must of had one of those nights, lately he's been on a roll, I think tonight overall the team just wasn't at their best and you know this when Marion grabs 15 while Dwight...9 Quote
BakoMagic Posted April 1, 2009 Report Posted April 1, 2009 c lee played well to start the game he wast attackin the basket, not sure y coach hahim on the bench so long he would have made those open threes that pietrus miss, but to his credtit pietrus was active on defense tonight. Quote
jedimindtricks Posted April 1, 2009 Author Report Posted April 1, 2009 Yeah well when he did attack the basket on back to back to back possessions he somehow ended up with 6 points! I wonder how that worked out. Quote
CaliMagicFan Posted April 1, 2009 Report Posted April 1, 2009 Maybe because he's a rookie late first round pick on a very good team? Think that might have something to do with it? Quote

I'm dumbfounded by this post from beginning to end. Perhaps you've gotten spoiled by Lee's recent play, but his offense has been wildly inconsistent all year. He averages like 10 points, 8 shots, & 1 FT per game as a starter. So, he has 6 pts. on 5 shots, & 4 ft's tonight. Really not that dramatic of a fall off. Lee was passive against UCLA? If passive is putting up 29 shots when you can't find the rim with the ball, I'd hate to see him being aggressive. Reality, Westbrook just owned him that game. Lee is the epitome of finesse & fluidity? He is far more Nick Anderson than Tracy McGrady. quote: Originally posted by God hates Magic fans:10 points from the bench, why the **** was JJ stuck on the bench? Better ?, why isn't Battie stuck on it? If Lee & Pietrus each continue getting about 30 minutes per game, we'll have far more productive nights from them than not. Quote
bravlady Posted April 2, 2009 Report Posted April 2, 2009 quote: Originally posted by God hates Magic fans:10 points from the bench, why the **** was JJ stuck on the bench? I'm sure JJ was wondering the same thing and SVG is kicking himself in the butt after this game for not pulling the trigger and putting him in the game. In past games against Toronto JJ has been in the game matched up with Kapono and Matt Goukas was scratching his head wondering why JJ was no the game especially when the game seemed to be getting away from the Magic.
