Noonskadoodle Posted October 28, 2008 Report Posted October 28, 2008 IF Jameer Nelson dont have one of his best seasons and we all have lost all of our patience with him does anybody think it would be possible to trade up in the draft by possibly giving up are 1st round pick and Jameer to get a stephon Curry in the draft if he was to declare for the NBA??? any responses?? Jareth Cutestory Posted October 28, 2008 Report Posted October 28, 2008 Why would you want Stephen Curry instead of Jameer? He is more a scoring PG which is exactly what we don't need at this point. The upcoming draft has a few good PG prospects, but with a late pick we might be able to snag one regardless. A few names to watch: AJ Price Ty Lawson Eric Maynor Darren Collison Lester Hudson Tyrese Rice Curtis Jerrells Quote
Noonskadoodle Posted October 28, 2008 Author Report Posted October 28, 2008 He is only scoring that much in college because he has to bcuz he is all they got im sure he will be a fine all around player in the nba and why wouldnt you want him....but i guess you are right there are other valuable pgs that we could snag and i wouldnt mind having a ty lawson on our team THANKS FOR THE INPUT!!! I'd rather have Tyreke Evans, Brandon Jennings, or Jrue Holiday. I just don't see any of those 4 being available when we pick, since hopefully it will be in the late 20s. Quote

Otis can buy another 1st round pick, with the trade exception, from the Dooling trade. Tyreke Evans is more of a SG, than a PG. Quote

He is a shooting guard trapped in a point guard's body.....a very small point guard. Even if he blows up this year I still don't think he will be selected in the lottery. Trading a undersized shooting first point guard to draft another one seems like a parallel move at best. Quote

Mills stock is at it highest, after his perfomance at the Olympic. I could only see him staying, if he happen to have a bad injury this season. Quote
