.:::***Magic Killer Of The Year***:::.

Recommended Posts

The annoyances of the season, the dreaded Magic Killers, can finally be appreciated in one thread in which they win Magic Killer Of The Year. All these stats are from losses that occurred this season. If you see a "2 or 3" in front of a players parenthesis, it means that they went off on us the second loss. Some of these players have destroyed us consistently. All of the following have scored 15 plus points on us in losses when most of them aren't really well known. Thats why they are called Magic Killers.

i like the concept, but i think you need to change somethings. super stars and players that are well known shouldn't be in the list. those are killers of every team and thus do not piss me off as much when they go off on us.

also, it would be nice if you added what team they play for (not sure if you have the time to do it).

that list is also too long... make it shorter. maybe restricting it to players who have scored 20+ would do the trick. and would classify them more into the magic killer category.

one last thing- i think for them to be considered magic killers, they have to have done it in more than one game. not necessarily this season, just in recent games. Obviously, this makes it much harder to make a list. but if there's anyway for you to look through the stats for last year too, we'd have a much more complete list of magic killers.

now i know i've asked for a lot-but as i said, i love the concept. after the few finalists, we could vote for the worst of the worst. The list as it is right now, has too many players. It takes away from the stigma that comes with the "magic killer" label.

hope you have the time/willigness to make changes.

crap, i forgot one more thing (yea yea, i'm asking a lot... but it'd be awesome if we had a complete list of magic killers)...

the magic killers have to have scored much more on the magic than their season average.

for instance, i see Janero Pargo. I'm thinking, who the hell is this guy? I google him, and find out that his season average is 9.3 PPG. It just happens that the highest points he's scored this season came against the magic- 25 points. That makes him a candidate for being a magic killer. Now if only I could look at his stats from last year.

You guys are getting demanding. lol

I wanted just the Magic Killers for this year and thats all. If I did last years Magic Killers than the whole NBA bench would be on there.
