Hey there is a game today and the Magic are favored. Don't ask me how.

It's the Knicks. I honestly haven't watched much NBA this season (including the Magic lately), but when I think of Knicks I think ineptitude, even more so than us. Probably the same way most people think, which is how these lines are set right? I'll probably watch today.

Thanks for understanding my point. It's the roster, not the coach. Remember when he was the Magic's coach?

Yeah, I agree. Most of this decisions regarding the roster of this team in the last several years have been terrible. Add to that our injury issues and you have the recipe for disaster.

This is so stupid, Clifford use sheer will to get this talent starved team to the playoffs. It's not him. How is Vogel looking these days?

His team just won a title and they have the best record in the league. I know, a lot of coaches could probably do the same with that roster, just saying.

Seems like the Magic's schedule will have a healthy dose of the Raptors given the news that they're playing in Tampa Bay to start the season.

I think I read every team plays every other team in the conference exactly three times and every team in the opposite conference exactly two times. We aren't playing them any more than any other Eastern Conference team.

    14  x 3 = 42 Eastern games

    15 × 2 = 30 Western games

    72 total games

I'm not sure how I feel about the play-in. It made sense last season, but this season? It also doesn't mention if the 9-10 seeds have to be within a certain number of games of the 7-8 seed.

If I'm reading this correctly you could be the 7 seed, lose to the 8 seed one game, then to the 10 seed the next and miss the playoffs and the 10 seed makes it.

I honestly think they are asking for trouble by doing this. It sounds like the regular season won't be as important. Even less reason for the casual fan to watch the regular season. Smart thing to do with the ratings being lower than they have been in years.
