I wonder, if (and I know what IF means) a team who refuses to part ways with a certain player or players at this time, but finds itself reasonably contending while approaching the trade deadline, with real possibilities to make it all the way ... would that make it more or less probable they change their previous position regarding their "untouchables" and be willing to acquire our notorious crybaby in an effort to consolidate their already advantageous standing? what do you guys think?

Have any of you read the post by datmagic, where he pastes an Article by Alex Kennedy stating, amongst other things: Several of Howard’s teammates are hoping for his departure as well. Toward the end of last season, Howard came close to a physical altercation with teammate Jameer Nelson at the Magic’s practice facility. Howard was sidelined with a back injury at the time, but nearly came to blows with Nelson for unknown reasons, according to sources. The two players had to be separated. what do you all think about that?

for sure, there probably isn't any one coach better equipped for coaching against the Magic and its prima donna ... certainly not, with a higher inspiration to coach against Dwight ... I shall dread watching him coaching against us ... someone once said that there's no better wedge (worst in this case) than that from the same piece of wood or tree ...

I was hoping someone of stature would bring that up ... 'cause that's exactly what I saw last nite at Chicago/Philly game ... It was hair rising to watch Rose walk on the court and see the fans, and more so his teammates, respond to the significance of that guy to be there then ... yeah! I know in the end Philly prevailed, but still ... that's, in my opinion, what a leader does ...
