Magic at Celtics - Wednesday, February 5, 2020 @ 7:30 PM

Okay, if Gordon Hayward matches up with Markelle abandon the play and just let him drive to the basket -
I don't think a 15-17 pick in this weak ass draft is our best asset, and the chances of us landing a star there is probably considerably less than 5%, but that's just my opinion
-
My guess is we end up with DSJ. We liked him leading up to the draft and I think this FO has proven a willingness to take on young reclamation projects.
-
I think an in-season trade of Fournier would light a fire under this team honestly.

2019-2020 Official Regular Season Thread

I don’t think there’s any doubt that’s what Shaq was implying and rightfully so. I don’t care a whole lot about what players do in their downtime but it’s definitely not a good look to be visibly stoned on national TV, especially considering the way AG has played this year. Idk man, this really could be an issue -
Yes, there is a rule that blocks it. He can’t be traded until the summer
-
Yes. Vuc definitely needs a change of scenery. I could see him becoming a 25/12/2bpg, First team All-NBA, and all-defensive team player if he could just find the right system...

Deadline is the 6th right?

2019-2020 Official Regular Season Thread

Vuc clearly has just not been as focused this season, and we all know exactly why. Cliff called him out in training camp and he's been inconsistent all season. This was predictable, we saw it the last time Vuc was in a contract year, got paid, and then coasted -
We're "kind of stuck" either way. And that's a nice way of putting it

Time to pull the plug on this rebuild and start over. We are broken and there aint no fixing it with this collection of players -

I'll update my prediction. We play like crap and win a close game so that we walk away with no actual momentum -

Big game for us. We really need a quality home win to jumpstart some momentum. Unfortunately this team always seems to disappoint so I'm predicting a competitive game, but ultimately a loss -

Or injured JI -
I'm just saying I wish we could bro

Can't we just trade Fournier straight up for JJ Redick and filler in either direction. Fournier makes sense in NO long-term and JJ's contract through the 2020-21 season fits perfectly with us needing to re-sign Isaac and Fultz to what will likely be max to near max contracts. Win win

Haven't read through this thread but our execution down the stretch was abysmal. Unforced TO's trying to force the ball into Vuc. TO by Vuc once we finally did get it to him. Missed FT's by AG. Heaviliy contested early 3pt shot by Fournier and two fouls on Chris Paul 25ft from the basket gifting them FT's. The thing that's really frustrating is that sans the one TO by Fultz trying to get the ball to Vuc, these miscues were all committed by the veteran players on the team. We shouldn't have even been in the game and yet it was right there for the taking and we literally choked it away. We've seen a lot of this and this season has become a season of missed opportunities. We need to move on from the Vuc/Fournier combo. We gave them every opportunity and last year was the ceiling of where they can take us. We'll end up with 42-44 wins this season and another 1st rd exit and that will confirm our ceiling with these two as our #1 and #2 options. We need to move forward and hand this team over to the young guys, even if it results in a losing season. -
I don't think we trade Augustine for two reasons. His leadership ability on a team that lacks veteran leadership and his relationship with Fultz and the fact that they share the same agent. The cost outweighs the reward IMO

Fox is exceptionally quick on offense. Fultz is not the only player who has a difficulty staying in front of him -

Any idea on why were trying to run the offense through Iwundu? I mean the guy is a plug in starter not a playmaking point forward -

Maybe being short handed will incline Cliff to start riding the hot hand and stop being so *****ing rigid -
