IDK. I like D. Smith with our # 5 pick. I am afraid that Phili will do another Payton move on us as they are again picking ahead of us.
-
I am hoping and expecting Fournier, augustine and either Biz or vuc to be traded befor free agency starts.
-
I think that does not apply with the Magic because our needs are at every position. If there is a star available who shows desire and interest to play with the Magic you have to go for it. We are in no position to deny interest on a star player just because of need.
-
jaja!. That is true. He became majority owner. I think he owns now around 90% of the team.
-
I realize that and Looking back now it is easy to see how bad it looks. Not considering the money, however, Keeping Dedmon in our roster maked little sense. He was not going to make us better. That was the idea in signing Biz. He was supposed to make us better. It was a failure.
-
that goes for drafting and Free agency.
-
:shard: . I saw that.. What a moron this guy is. Someone go and tell this guy that most of the GM's and ALL team owners are white.

I will be interested to see what the team do this offseason. I want us to: 1.Sign Meeks, Keep Gordon, Payton and Mario. 2. With our first round Picks, select a PG and a SF(scorer) With our Second rounders select a PF and a international big guy that can develop. Maybe trade one of our second, late first and Fournier to move up in the draft for another top 15 pick. 3. Trade Fournier on draft day to move up. Trade either Vuch or Biyombo and Augsutine as a package. Maybe for future 2nd round picks and expirings. We can use our Ibaka trade exception(2,250.000) here if needed. I honestly dont care if somehow we are able to trade Biyombo for Howard at this point. We need to make a splash and change our direction. 4. I will like to bring Jameer back to the magic as our third PG and as our needed veteran presence. 5. Go hard with whatever money is left for a top 3 FA this offseason. I dont really care on the position as long as it is a top FA. We need identity and a name.

I dont think it was a mistake to let him go. We need the cap space to sing free agents. I was Ok let him go as he didnt do much for us nor he was going to give us more this year. We needed to do something and gamble. I didnt play out well but I am ok with Biyombo at the moment. Lets put this way. Do you rather sign Meeks(29 year old) at 6-8 millions per year, knowing already what he can bring to the magic or will you rather take a gamble in free agency for a player like Porter(just to give an example) at 12-14 millions a year? You can keep the team the way it is or try to make it better. My point is that at the time, I was OK with the move because it showed me that we, the Magic, is trying to make moves to improve the team. Unfortunately, it has not panned out on our favor.

i like that and I think is duable. A team like sacramento might like Fournier in exchange of one of their first. They struggle getting decent talent in free agency and getting a player they have shown interest in the past is there with Fournier.

Philadelphia Has been there before. Ask MCW.

I dont know if those stats tell me much. Why dont we compared the stats of Saric vs stats of Gordon At the PF position?
-
Speaking of childish response. And by the way, Gordon is a better all around player: Saric is just a better shooter. I am sure AG will improve his 3point shot next year. Gordon played the wrong position all last season and half of this year. As a PF he has played greatly. Defensively, not even close. AG can guard any position in this league. saric is an average defender at best. I see you losing $100 dollars in 2 years.
-
Nah. We are not the Cowboys and they are not commenting on it. They are mocking us and having fun doing it. And with reason. Is the history. We are just not in a very good position to look worse as an organization if we plan to attract decent free agents in the future.
-
Who is making a huge deal out of this? Im just saying that it looks bad. When you see this on ESPN and hear sport radios across the country discussing it, it makes it a big deal and another blow to the organization and players involved. The Manager is in charge of all moves happening in the front office whether he is there or not. It is on him. When it comes to specific targets. Well... there is a big one out there involving AG. A competent GM should not allow people to get into that room unless you are there. That is why I think he was there for the signing. Or he is truly that incompetent. Either way, he needs to go.
-
I will be ok trading Mario and our 2nd rounder for Saric. They need a SG and we need a SF.
-
I has to be on him. He had to be there to sign those players. Like I said before, they can use another room to sign players. It appears to me as that room is part of his office.
-
I just saw the page!. WOW. Nothing to brag about. Hennigans definetely needs to go. Not only for what he has done but now for allowing people to get into that room and expose their plans like that. I am sure there are other rooms at the Arena that they can use to sign players.
-
Money talks. Im sure if the offer is right, he will not hesitate.
-
To stop the tanking they should just do a ping pong lottery for the non-playoff teams. Pick selection wil be determined on the luck of the ball irrelevant on the win or losing record.
-
I dont think that is possible.
-
All you have said here is mainly the GM fault. I agree that we are at the bottom of the league but how can you have the Nets and Lakers ahead of us. The Nets!
-
Phil is winning, Minnesota is also winning and even Phoenix is ahead at the moment. Not a bad day for us if this keep up.
-
I think Harry Giles will be a good option to pick with our second first round pick if available. It is a risk I will likely take.
