    True, if he weren’t an impending free agent about to demand the max on a team hampered with awful contracts. I love Gordon, I hope he’s a Magic player for a long long time, but I think they’re listening to offers only because if we max him long-term and can’t unload anybody else, we have zero flexibility with the cap

    I’d rather have Gordon with Ayton or Young. By King’s ransom, I mean that trade is so one-sided in our favor, we can’t say no. Aaron is only 22 and has shown the potential to be a perennial all-star.

    Anybody heard Bruce Bowen’s Tim Duncan story? Apparently, he was a done deal to sign with the Magic the year we got T-Mac and Grant Hill, but asked for permission for his family to take the team plane every once in awhile and Doc Rivers denied him, so the deal fell through. It’s a really really depressing time to be a Magic fan.

    Tanking after an 8-4 start doesn’t make sense to me. Maybe the injuries have forced the hand, maybe we’re trying to showcase Vucevic, Payton and Hezonja for trades? I don’t know what the hell is going on

    I’m ready to be linked to some deals for sure. I’ll be incredibly disappointed if this team hasn’t made a move by 2018. It’s unfortunate they have the excuse of injuries to standpat.
