Yeah, especially after a 3 game losing streak. At least we’re consistent, I saw this ish coming a mile away
-
Isaac and Harris out, Fultz in
-
Yeah, if we want to avoid the play-in, tonight and Monday are both must win
-
Any theories on what’s going on with Franz? His game has fallen off a cliff. I know I’ve been banging the fatigue drum, but curious if anybody is seeing anything else.
-
Heartbreaker. Should’ve won that one. 3 game home losing streak and now we’re only 1 game up of the 6 spot and 2 games up of being in the play-in. We’re past the point of moral victories, so I’m just starting to get pissed off. Our late game execution is inexcusable. If there’s a 50/50 shot Paolo is gonna turn the ball over every time he touches it in crunch time than we have to do something else. Props to JI, Jalen and Moe, they were easily our best players tonight. Tomorrow night has now become a must win… on to the next one

It’d be cool if Paolo stopped doing dumb ****

Fultz officially out
-
Yeah. Trae would improve our offense 100x more than Murray would. I guess my only thought in Dejounte’s favor is defensively, but the version of him I’m remembering on D hasn’t existed in ATL, he was a freakin pitbull on D in San Antonio tho and I’d hope that’s something he’d be able to find again. Also cost is another big piece of the puzzle here. I’d guess Trae will cost us twice as much as Dejounte to acquire
-
Fultz has popped up on the injury report for tonight as questionable due to injury maintenance. First night of a back to back so we’ll probably stagger our holdouts with Kelle missing tonight and Harris and Isaac missing tomorrow
-
I’d love either Hartenstein or Claxton with the assumption that we fix our spacing by adding more shooting at the guard positions. Right now WCJ works better than most 5s would with our starting 5 because we need his spacing at the position. I agree with you that he’s disappointed this year, and the amount of games Mosley has willingly sat him in crunch time is pretty telling that he doesn’t have a guaranteed spot in our future anymore like we all assumed he did a year ago.

44 points on 44 shots is insane. Murray vs Trae is an interesting debate of which one I’d rather have. A Dejounte and Suggs perimeter defense duo would be nasty, but Trae would probably be the best passer we’ve had since… uhh.. I don’t even know.. Skiles? And he’d help with the spacing and congestion immensely. I guess my answer is I’d take either and smile about it lol

Oh I didn’t mean to offend anyone. It’s just consistent with Cole. He’s divisive on this board. He plays poorly he’s the first one to get called out, but he never gets credit when he plays well. He’s a spark plug, and when he’s playing like he was last night, you bet your behind I want him playing the whole 4th quarter over Markelle Fultz who won’t look at the basket if he’s further than 10 feet out. I just feel like Cole is a scapegoat, when most nights we have much bigger problems. Our biggest issues in the rotation right now are Joe Ingles and Markelle Fultz, Wendell Carter gets a consolation prize here as well.

Gary is off the injury report for tomorrow. First game of a back to back, so I’d expect him, Kelle and JI all to play against the Clippers and sit against the Grizzlies. The Sugg/Harris/Franz/Paolo/WCJ starting 5 I believe is still undefeated.
-
Yeah, the Cole hate is wild. Without him, we lose by 20+ last night.
-
The last 4 losses put a spotlight on just how thin our backcourt is. Harris out the last 2 and Suggs out the 2 losses to New York and Indy. It’s why most of us were so upset for sitting stagnant at the trade deadline. Markelle was horrible again last night but people are afraid to say it because he’s an awesome dude and we all feel bad for him. Behind that AB is too raw, and Cole and Suggs are way too inconsistent. I still can’t believe a pro basketball team had a quarter where they shot 3-22 from the field… insane
-
Down 1 with a minute left and we get a shot clock violation due to indecisiveness. Just can’t happen
-
We missed 10 free throws on 21 attempts. We lost by 8 points. Smh And not only that, it was a one-possession game in crunch time. If we could at least shoot league average from the line we’d have won this game
-
We deserved to lose this one. That first quarter was some of the worst professional basketball I’ve ever seen from an offense. Free throw shooting is a major problem and it’s somehow getting worse. Draymond getting tossed probably hurt us more than it hurt Golden State. The starters were all bad. Again. Franz needs to stop disappearing against good teams. Cole was excellent. We missed an opportunity here… Steph was bad and GSW was on the 2nd night of a back to back while we were on extended rest. Just inexcusable to come out that flat. Im more annoyed by this game than anything… oh well, on to the next one
-
Markelle getting the start with Suggs, Franz, Paolo and WCJ. Harris out, and can’t find confirmation but I think Houstan is too
-
I believe our Magic number to clinch at least the 6 seed and avoid the play-in is 8. That’s a combination of Magic wins and Heat and Sixers losses. So, if we go 8-3 the rest of the way, even if the Heat and Sixers win out (which they won’t) we’re in the real tournament and don’t have to “earn” our spot. If we go 2-9 like TMF fears, we’re 100% gonna have to deal with the play-in
-
I’m gonna go with 7-4 the rest of the way with 6-5 more likely than 8-3. Lose one of the next two, in Houston and in New Orleans, and one of the last 3. CT you bring up a great point about hoping Milwaukee has clinched the 2 before those games, would be nice!
-
3 full days off between games this time of year is brutal. Hope the Heat/Warriors game goes into triple OT tonight
-
Sixers and Heat win, Cavs lose. 4 games separating the 3 and 8 seed. Strap in, this season is gonna end crazy
-
Yeah I don’t know what to make of WCJ in the context of the future or this team. His low games are unplayable, like we saw last night.
-
I’m sorry y’all, but the refs gifted this game to Sacramento. #74 was making horrible biased calls and non-calls all night in the Kings favor and that “foul” on Jalen that gave Fox go ahead free throws with 20 seconds left in a tight game is just inexcusable to call in that situation. JI was incredible tonight, pretty much all the starters were bad. We owe the Kings a few close ones now. And Malik Monk did a hell of a job with whatever the opposite of an audition is tonight.
