I think our best version of our team is better than the Knicks, but our worst version is quite a bit worse than the Knicks. This team is so up and down, so I’m hoping for someone efficient who can balance out our roster a bit in the next 2 hours.

It’s newish because the NFL added a week to their season a few years back. I could see the NBA moving the deadline either a week earlier or a week later to make up for that. I know they don’t want the stress of the deadline on players during all-star weekend, so maybe the move is to push it up a week while the NFL is on its off week before the big game

I always forget that the trade deadline is just like New Year’s Eve part 2 for me. All this misplaced excitement and anticipation for something to happen, but then just an uneventful day and disappointment after the ball drops.

Maybe the move is Collin Sexton, feel like he’d be cheaper than Garland and Trae and he’s a better defender. He’s also probably more realistic of a target than the other two
