There's a reason he went 15. I have hopes that he'll be a higher level player than that and he definitely could be but he might just be like a Lou Will type and that's ok in my opinion.

He was coming off injury. He has a lot of upside with the NBA spacing. With his shooting, he can play with fultz.

How does this work? I mean i know a little about Terrence Davis, but exactly how does a guy go undrafted? If any team drafts him they have that players rights. Can he just tell teams not to draft him?

If no one selects a person. They are free agents. Don't think they have choice of being drafted.

I agree, but the post specifically said "go younger", and you don't normally do that by trading a guy who is only 25, like AG - you normally are referring to guys around 30 or older. Of the guys currently under contract, we only have one guy "over" 30 right now:

    Aminu - 30, Vucevic - 29, Ross - 29, Birch - 28, Fournier - 27

    Gordon - 25, Isaac - 23, Fultz/Bamba/Okeke - 22

Until I looked it up, I forgot that Ross and Birch are actually both older than Fournier.

I understand what you meant now.

Something tells me I'm going to spend the early hours of the morning defending whoever we draft that isn't a guy like Nesmith or Bane.

Unless we draft Precious. Then I riot with the rest of you.

We need playmakers and shooters. In this draft that is also the players with the most talent. No excuse for management this year. The players even have nice wingspans. One the top guards is 6'5" with 7 foot wingspans and very good shooter and playmaker.

I think that every fan does that, and not only with young rookies. :)

A week ago Jrue Holiday was not enough a return for Vooch... and he actually landed a great deal for NO, something that I really doubt we will never receive for Nikola. After those first trades, I've also read that we have to obtain even more for him... well, I hope, but we keep forgetting that championship teams target (and overpay) for pieces that fit and improve their situation... not sure Vuc is that.

I see vuch impacting a team like Paul Gasol. Skilled big men value is starting to rise again after the bubble with ad and joker showing there importance.

We should try to trade Vuc and Ross to the Warriors for Wiggins, the 2nd Pick and the TPE (Iguodala). If needed we include our 15th Pick.

Then draft Edwards with the 2nd Pick.

We could start the season with Fournier in the starting-five and switch him later in the season with Edwards. Then we could still decide, if we want to trade Fournier and his expiring contract for future assets (Picks).

If Edwards goes Nr. 1 in the Draft, we should trade the 2nd Pick for a top 10 Pick + assets. The Bulls would then be a perfect tradepartner. Send Fournier, 2nd Pick an Aminu (+ fillers if needed) to the Bulls for the 4th Pick, LaVine and Young. The Bulls then could pick Lamlo Ball and get a lot of capspace for next year to land a big free agent. With the 4th Pick we could select Hayes, Haliburton or Vassell. Then use the MLE for a veteran Center (Whiteside, Gasol, Plumlee, Baynes etc.)

Our roster for next season would look like this:

    With Edwards:

    Starters: Fultz/Edwards/Wiggins/Gordon/Bamba

Bench: FA PG (Bradley? or Dunn?) / Fournier/ Okeke / Aminu / FA C (Plumlee?)

    With Bulls-Trade:

    Starters: Fultz/LaVine/Wiggins/Gordon/Bamba

Bench: Hayes / Okeke / Young / FA C (Plumlee?)

I've come to conclusions that we are not trading vuc. If we did trade him it would not be with ross. I think management thinks really highly of vuch. I believe isaac is the reason Gordon is being shopped. I don't want to lose Gordon but we are loaded at PF.

I’m hoping to somehow make two picks in the lottery. Lol! The guy I’ve come to like as a SG is Vassell, but he’ll probably be gone unless we move up. The guy that scares me is Hampton.

Yup. High bust chance and not a proven shooter. If he can't shoot, he will not be good for fultz.

Its seeming like the experts are between Lewis Jr, Maxey, and Hampton. What are your guys thoughts? Personally I’m not really big on any, I was hoping we’d find more of a polished and consistent 3 point scorer

Dont want most of those. I want at 15: Cole Anthony, Lewis jr, nesmith, or Tyrell Terry

I have a couple of fears with drafting a PG, and why I would prefer more of a combo guard:

    1) Drafting a PG could send the wrong message, shake Fultz' confidence and lead to some digression in his play. Drafting a combo/backup PG sends him the opposite message, that we have confidence in him.

    2) PG is the hardest position to come in and immediately start to play - it's a pretty steep learning curve for most rookies. It is easier if they are coming in as a backup initially.

    3) If we trade Fournier, a combo guard might be more valuable to us. This might open up more playing time for the two point guard lineup as well.

1# our issue has been playmaking, so we need more creative players. It the NBA players need to win position, so I'm not worried about rubbing him wrong. We only have on pg so I see us adding another.

2/3# I do want combo guard some good next to fultz. There are a lot of big points in this draft. Plus fultz can defend sgs. I can also see us getting Cole Anthony at 15.

Yeah, I've not been a supporter of the line the FO followed until now as you all know, but that's a standard PR declaration, he can't say that the team suck and he's going to trade everyone for pennies... even he's thinking that.

My issue is not with what they say, I can't care less about that, but with what they done. The problem is if he's really thinking what he's saying.

Possibilities are always there. OKC has obtained a ton of assets selling two supposed bad contracts in consecutive years, and that's just the last of a long list of examples of being proactive on the market.

Are you talking about Westbrook and Paul George? If so they are more than bad contracts

Wiggins and #2 for AG, TRoss and #15 - I despise this trade, the next time Wiggins buckles down to defend will be the first time; and don't tell me what a "great" scorer he is. He is not a net-positive player - he gives up as much as he gets. I think this is way too much to give up for what you would be getting back.

I know. I would remove the 15 pick
