    Go Lakers

"My statement was just to say that our team that I played with in Orlando, we were the underdogs," Howard said after the Lakers' 108-102 win over the New Orleans Hornets on Wednesday night. "Nobody really talked about our team. It was underrated. Everybody overlooked us for the whole time I was there in Orlando and I hated that. We all hated that. We thrived off that. My comments were never to say anything disrespectful to those guys. Those were my teammates for years. They helped me become the player that I am today and we all got to the Finals because of that. http://espn.go.com/los-angeles/nba/story/_/id/9025882/dwight-howard-los-angeles-lakers-responds-criticism-former-orlando-magic-teammates

    Go Lakers

Its funny. I hope the Lakers win, so we can get there pick. If they don't make the playoffs. We do not get there 1st round pick. :(/>/>/>/>/> Update "My statement was just to say that our team that I played with in Orlando, we were the underdogs," Howard said after the Lakers' 108-102 win over the New Orleans Hornets on Wednesday night. though I did not like the "no one wanted the players on our team", I did not think the interview was that bad. JJ had value, Nelson was an allstar, turk went for 50mil in the offseason, lee had value, gortat targeted by a number of teams, and lewis was an allstar player at the time.

I have heard from someone that knows him that he likes the attention. He does want people to like him badly, but he really like the attention.
  10. it is really funny to hear how highly the bucks fans are speaking of harris. They are really upset about the trade.

    Stuff the Magic Dragon

the color really does not matter to me.
  12. It was a tough shooting game. He also was not getting any calls and was playing against the 2nd best defense. I to knew he would not continue to shoot 60%. Let see how he reacts to a tough night.
  13. He looks really bad. I have not seen one positive thing yet. Missing lay ups, not playing defense, and can't even hit a shot. He seems overwhelmed.
  14. scott syles played him and the current coach did not. The current coach went with the more defensive player a head of him.

    Most Impressive, Most Disappointing

Most Impressive: Henny - we have gotten young quick and exchanged JJ for Harris and kept the cap space Harris - He has looked good in the few games he has played - a very versital player that can attack the rim AA - Still fighting hard AL - He is back on the court to provide leadership (Vets are important in player development) Nick - Still rebounding the ball hard Our record - I know and see the players want to win, but we need good picks the next 2 drafts (2014-2015 season is our targeted window to compete) Most Disappointing: Defense - Not one player has looked good on defense Nelson - He can't stay on the court (Good for our tanking)
  16. He can even play some pt forward. I really like his versatility.
  17. I know right. Henny goes and gets cody zeller...
  18. Most likely to coach Marcus Smart, Marcus (Flower Mound, Texas) ESPN Senior Analyst Dave Telep dubs this Oklahoma State recruit “Smartacus,” and for good reason. Smart boasts an exceptionally high basketball IQ and his leadership qualities could land him a gig on the sideline -- that is once he’s done tormenting defenders on both ends of the floor. And, come on, what player is going to question a move made by a coach named Smart? Runner-up: Marcus Paige, Linn-Mar (Marion, Iowa) http://espn.go.com/blog/high-school/boys-basketball/post/_/id/4867/toasting-the-class-of-2012 Smart new nickname Smartacus
  19. Did he get that tattoo on his wrist for you.
  20. the arroya battle started a civil war with magic fans. nelson vs arroya; who will start... epic throwback ... lol
  21. actually it was truly a typo. I was meaning to write other young players. Not our young players. I do believe that rob looks for player like harris. I think our young guys do work hard because of there high character.
  22. Harris is said to have a good handle on his dribble and be a good passer. Close to the area of pt forward. He has a nice touch around the basket using both left and right hand. He is said to have a very quick first step to score in one on one situations. He said to have a very good work ethic and is a gym rat. People thought jj would be bad to but the work ethic sets player like harris apart from other young players.
  23. smart plays on espn today
