howard is a beast

we lost to boston because they outplayed us. when howard and meer were having good games, mostly everybody else didnt, when the others had a good game, howard and meer didnt. we were to up and down, not to mention svg never changed the game plan, and boston was well prepared for it. this year should be better still because howard can step out which clears the middle for penetration, and hedo's size seemed to give pp problems. we may have added shooters but what we need is for them to not hit a slump when the playoffs come.

you are funny. i think j rich will eventually be fine, but it kills me how all these people up here have to bash vince in order to say that jrich is good. jrich is a good player always has been, but he is not now better than vince carter. jrich never draws a double team, never sets anybody else up, but he is great at what he does. he is great at spot up shooting, great in athleticism. look at the suns vs the magic this year and see how they fared against each other. i think the magic got better because of this trade imo but not because jrich over vc.

yes. i think the defense is the key. the offense looks good in spurts. i still dont see that player that breaks the defense down like everybody thought, but there are enough good players spreading the floor, that i think this team has what it takes. the great thing is, that everybody is making it their business to play team ball. i wish they could have done this at first, but oh well. sometimes a change is better. im not sure that the new players are better, than the old, but the chemistry was bad. meer and vince bad mix.

i got to admit that turk does bring a difference, because of his size. he doesnt just spot up, he is active in playmaking. i think the key to victory is less jameer[he is great, but prior to the trade he just dominated the ball toooooooo much.] and more movement. i love the trade, but for all the people saying that jrich is an upgrade over vc, must be smoking the good stuff. he needs others to involve him. they are two totally different kinds of players.

bass gives the team an offensive toughness. whenever he gets near the rim, he tries to tear it down. he kept us in the game, along with superb team defense

not you but so many others up here, blast the guy because he wasnt scoring 20 ppg. some took any chance to bash the guy. when he played defense against carmello, everybody knew he was overmatched, and he actually did pretty good, considering the fact[plus the bad calls] and the next day everybody talks bad about his defense. even dwight, and he hasnt looked great on defense this year either. vc came to play this year, this was just not the team for him.

i agree again. vince is a better creator, and he got to the cup more than people gave him credit for. richardson is a better spot up shooter, and he at this point in his career is more athletic.

you are right. jameer sometimes wouldnt even pass vince the ball. vince could have had plenty of big games this year, but stan seemed to not notice when he was hot. if this trade makes the team better then im all for it, but i dont think that it was vince fault that we were losing.

i agree. when players publicly denounce their teammates, the new teammates wonder what will happen, if they go through a period of struggling. i think dwight[best center hands down] is somewhat struggling this year too. not in fg, but in being the defensive stopper, that he is known for being. players are not afraid of him this year. i cant say that i like this trade yettttttttttttttt, time will tell. how does nelson feel??? im sure howard is happy, but where does this leave jj. i was looking at a boston forum, and they seem to think that we got weaker. lets hope not.

its hard to imagine everybody playing together, especially with our offense. is gil gonna be a spot up shooter, cause i can imagine turk will be running the offense. what happens if howard gets in foul trouble, or has an injury. i think jrich is similar to vince, except basketball iq. its probably gonna take some time to gel, but offensively we might be better. defensively ????????
