The Dwight Howard Drama Unfolds
Fluffy Guru replied to Live or Die Magic's topic in The Thread Hall of Fame
If everything is a smoke screen, why should we believe this story? I guess no one would dare blow smoke in Mr. Pings direction. -

Miami didn't want SVG and we got a coach to bring us to the finals. Organizations are not always right, even championship organizations.

Sources: Howard demands SVG to be fired
Fluffy Guru replied to TheOrlandoTragic's topic in Orlando Magic Forum
Is this a chicken or the egg scenario? Without Dwight SVG would not be the best coach the Magic have ever seen, and the Magic wouldn't be as good without SVG. Stan said it his self "The key to good coaching is get good players". We forget these players are human, and sometimes no matter how much you want the best of their respectable positions to work together it doesn't work all the time. I've had to deal with some real d bags at work that have almost pushed me away. -
The Official Dwight Howard Everything Thread
Fluffy Guru replied to Drain-O's topic in The Thread Hall of Fame
Does Dwight reply to negative Magic tweets only if the person has Magic in their name? He doesn't reply to positive Magic fan tweets. It looks like he's trying to make us fans look bad via Twitter. -

We should bring Phil Jackson out of retirement. He said he would like to coach Dwight. -
Dwight Has His Contract Extension On The Table!

He wants to stay. -
It was cool hearing the crowd chant M-V-P! for me last night during the game. It´s come and gone a few times during the year, but it was really strong last night. Feeling that love from the crowd is special to me and it never gets old. Although my teammates mess with me and say that I miss my free throws every time the crowd does the M-V-P chants. www.dwighthoward.com/blog/

Deron Williams has spoken with principal owner Mikhail Prokhorov and general manager Billy King about their plan and who they will pursue as they prepare for their Brooklyn move after next season. Orlando center Dwight Howard tops that list, sources said. The Nets want to improve the talent around Williams to get him to sign an extension when he's eligible over the summer. www.fannation.com

Stein: Magic interested in T. Murphy if bought out by G.S.
Fluffy Guru replied to ball junkie's topic in Orlando Magic Forum
The Magic appear to have a leg up when it comes to signing Murphy outright as a free agent, as it can offer a pro-rated portion of the Bi-Annual Exception; among the teams reportedly interested in Murphy, neither Boston nor Miami can offer as much money. Florida's lack of state income tax also makes Orlando an attractive destination, as does the opportunity to play quality minutes off the bench each night. My link -
Congrats to Marcin Gortat
Fluffy Guru replied to the notorious S.A.C.'s topic in Around the NBA/Globe Game
Interview with the Polish Hammer. Orlando was a cell or a good school? There was a lot of players in the NBA who signed big contracts early in their career, were thrown into deep water and drowned. I experienced a lot of things in Orlando - there were games where I played 20-30 minutes deep in the play-offs, I played in the Finals. In the early seasons I have learned a great deal, I had a great coach who taught me the defensive mentality and on-court discipline. That shaped me as a player and helps me now, also, because I didn't play much I have huge hunger to play. I had a few great games in Phoenix but it is still not even close to being enough. I will murder and kill (wow, exact words) until I get bored (laughs). It's not gonna be soon, because I was sitting and watching for almost 4 years. It's payback time now... My link -

I thought it sounded outlandish. My friend told me about the article and I wasn't sure if it was a credible site. -

Gilbert was favoring his leg during the Celtics game. His knee must be worst than he lets on.
