Ok, this and your post in the username thread where you explain the 3rd meaning of your name are just too much for me to handle. It really marinates my satins. I'm on my third pair of panties since I read this. Is there any way we can meet up? I meet so many guys who just don't cut it, and you seem like you've got it all together. I'd love to try you out. I guarantee I'm hotter than the girl in that picture. Let me know, PM me or something. I'm tired of all these girly men who can't get the job done, and you obviously can. I have to go change panties again. The username thing was a poor attempt at a sexual joke and the post in this thread was a drunken typo. a guy who posts on an Orlando Magic web forum has no shot at getting with a Magic dancer. Hell a few weeks ago Vince Carter almost had my girl going home with him. I am no slick pimp. Just an average everyday normal mother****** This might be why I like VC alot less then I used to. I still say its his game but anyone outside of a celebrity would not have gotten away with whispering in her ear. You dont want me Treehorn, im not sure if im into man on man either.

I know you hate Vince. but I LOVE you for this. I agree 100%. Jameer is not doing what he should be doing he's just playing well as a scoring 2 guard every once in a while. Poor excuse for a point guard on a team loaded with talent around him. Jameer is a shoot first PG. He creates by getting the defense to colapse on him. His vision is lacking back for what he is and what natural skills he has he does what he is best suited to do. I wont lie and say I was against the VC experiment but he was suppose to be the guy who finally created for self out of a wing position. While he at times created for self he just didnt have the legs or heart to finish at the rim and draw the help defender. Most of his penetration ended up fade away jumpers or hedoesk flail-ups hoping for a foul.

I agree on the not being able to stop Bron, Wade, Bosh. Peaches seems to do an ok job with Bron but Wade always goes off on us and so does Bosh, and I firmly believe that if with all the fire power they have you really cant focus on shutting one person down. I do however feel like we of most all the teams in the nba have the best chance defensively against them. The Heat are a team you will almost have to run zone against. If we could figure out a way to make the 1-3-1 work we could shut them down. But with defensive three seconds that style of zone would literly take 4 guys on the court with stop watches and a lazy eye on Dwight at all times. I do think we can force them to be a jump shooting team. That my friend is the only way you can beat The Heat. Zone Defense = A/C vs the Heat.

Isn't this the same fan base that mocked LeBron's supporting cast in Cleveland for 2 years & correctly predicted their playoff limitations? The same fan base questioning Miami's superiority over Orlando because Mario Chalmers & Udonis Haslem are currently penciled in to join their 3 franchise players in the starting lineup? But, two players w/blatant matchup problems vs. elite players/teams and zero defensive versatility magically maintain Orlando as a legitimate championship contender? I think you'd have to ignore defense all together as OP did to even begin to think this is realistic. Every weakness that has been exploited by opponents for 3 seasons in the playoffs would be exponentially worse with a starting lineup of Anderson-Lewis-Redick-Nelson. JJ can't stay on the court against the likes of S-Jax & Joe Johnson. Anderson can't play against Boston because he's a liability. Solution, make them starters??? This unit is weaker defensively, has less defensive versatility, less ability to create off the bounce, & less athleticism. Promising... In no way am I saying we dont need to make moves, I see guys like you who take the little bit of minutes and GP and take it as the end all be all of what a player stands to do performance wise. As I mentioned above Bass has his places where he will be the better call(i.e. Boston, certain laker lineups, ect) The difference between our supporting cast and Clevelands is huge. Cleveland had no identity on either end of the court outside of "get lebron the ball and let him score or get someone open" on offense. The same can be said on the defensive end. Our role players are just that, players that fit a role of a specific set and style that this team is built around. O yeah, Ryan Anderson is the ripe old age of 22 and J.J. is a spot up shoot who is only 26 and has just started to see his potential opened up. Obviously you didnt even begin to think when you put this reply together attacking something that wasnt even the point of my OP. With the roster we currently have these are the guys I feel are strongest within SVG's system. I guess you forgot the fact that last year and the year before that and the year before that the bulk of our wing defense in our starting lineup played matador defense. Seeing as how I havent gotten past the first guy I analyze on our bench you jump to the conclusion that I dont think defense is important. On the contrary I know how our defensive scheme works and I do believe RA with a few pounds put on and the nature progression the body still takes at the age of 22 will offer more of a defensive threat then Rashard offered at the 4. As far as bigger more physical teams as I addressed in an above post we have Brandon Bass, a physical banger who brings another shotblocking presence to the low post. I have yet to address MP who I feel has been given a bit of the shaft since Barnes took most of the defensive thunder. When we go up against teams who like Miami, LA, ect we will see more of pietrus at the 2 and 3 covering the other teams best offensive wing. that was a valiant attempt at a flame tho, you should prolly wait until the post is thru or attack the point im making in my latest post before you start flaming off on something that I wasnt even focusing on in the first place. Again the title is, My, "Who they should play like" Magic Breakdown. Its my analysis of what I think the guys we have should be focused on working on. Seeing as our defense has worked with weak wing defenders as starters since D12 came to this team I feel pretty sure that thru rotation and our style of play the above 5 are our current best to be starting 5. Depending on situations we are lucky enough to have a bench that offers a solid wing and low post defender as well as other good role players who can fill in certain, "when needed" scenerios. Thanks for trying tho Kitno. Glad to see your the same guy you were 3-4 years ago.

    Juwan and Z to HEAT

I hope this is what the decide to do for bigs. I will never understand why any team has wanted Juwan Howard after he left us for Houston. His career should have ended the year afer his stint with us. On top of that im just looking back at his stats with us but I rmember him making alot of bonehead moves and TOs. Big Z is washed up as well. I think they need to grab Brad Miller and the old broke down diesel that is Shaq. Miamis rookie big(Pittman) might not be much next year but give a season or two under his belt and I think everyone will see Miami landed the next Kendrick Perkins, which could be really bad news for us if our guys(specifically Dwight) dont make big improvements in the slashing and low post department or make some personel changes. Brad Miller/Shaq/Dexter Pittman should be the rotation with Dexter overtaking Shaq as he adjusts to the speed, size, and strength of NBA centers.

My "Who they should play like" Magic Breakdown

PF/Brandon Bass - When we got him from Dallas I thought he was going to quickly become the starting 4 with Shard going back to the 3. With his mid-range game and frame Bass has the potential to be THE traditional 4 that gives Dwight the help he needs on the boards and the ability to rotate to Dwights man when Dwight goes for the block as a help defender. He seemed like a soft spoken guy with very little ego. Now however, I am starting to lean toward the dude just being dumb. When he did get time in the playoffs last year he looked completely lost on offense and had no idea what rotations to make on defense. Moving forward to the 10-11 season we have a guy who has all the physical gifts and athletic abilities we need in a guy who can be a key for us off the bench against bigger lineups. Bass of all our bigs can benefit the most from Patrick Ewing. I think his offensive game is best suited to being a smaller Ewing. He really needs Ewing or ANY assistant to take him under their wing and teach him the system. I do still see Brandon Bass as being a very good player for us off the bench as long as someone can get him in tune with the team. Also I would like to see him become an enforcer. When teams are coming hard at Dwight we send Bass in and let him draw a few rough fouls against the opposing bigs that are hammering Dwight. We have to protect our Franchise guy and I think that is something Bass can bring to the table. Imagine if Dwight was a wing player and got hammered like he does?!? If anyone else took some of the hits Dwight takes on a nightly basis they would be out more games then they played every year. So Bandon, beg a coach to take you under their wing, look to Patrick Ewing first. Learn the Magics system and when given the opportunity show everyone why you deserve minutes. Again Gortat being gone will greatly benefit Bass just as much as RA. Bass should see some time at Center I would think depending on match ups. Daniel Orton is only 6'8 granted he has a huge wingspan but he will be our backup center so I can see Bass getting minutes at the 5 as well with Gortat gone.
  8. For fun i've been thinking about with the guys we currently have what will be the best rotation and what do specific players need to do with their game to keep us in the championship hunt Ill start with PG and work my way to C. They guys I think are on the right track I will write little to nothing about; PG/Jameer Nelson - Meer is doing what he should be. He is easily our biggest threat off the dribble to penetrate. I used to worry about his assist numbers and court vision but as every season passes I see in our offense his is much more effective drawing fouls on the drive and taking jump shots off picks. I really wish we could pick up a bigger PG to back him up just to see what he can pull off as a 6th man playing off the ball at the 2. SG/J.J. Redick - Yes J.J.... Assuming we match I dont think VC makes it to the all-star break as the starter. J.J. needs to continue to be hungry and have this want to improve that he seems to carry. He needs to model his game after Rip Hamilton and Ray Allen. Before every game he should watch highlights of those two playing whatever defender he will be up against that night and pick which of the two did better against said defender and emulate them to a T. I would love for us to somehow pick up Rip after this last year of his contract at the vet min or on the cheap Just so we could have him mentor J.J. and let them cover each other at practice. We need J.J. to become Rip Hamiltonesk this year and I think it is completely possible. I could see J.J. having a breakout year this year. SF/Rashard Lewis - cut 10-15 pounds and hopefully get alittle speed back. Even at 10 pounds lighter Shard is going to have the strength advantage over most of the other 3's in the league, his speed however might be an issue. I think he needs to work on catching in the mid-range and working inside or outside from there. His main weapon is still gonna have to be his 3 point shot, but in order for us to be successful he will have to put together some type of dribble penetration or mid-range jumper to add to his game. I would love to see him become our leading scorer and go back to the numbers he had his last two years in Seattle. PF/Ryan Anderson - The sooner Gortat gets moved the better off Anderson will be. Anderson has0 the ability to be a traditional 4 and the ability to play stretch 4. I Would love to see Ryan play similar to Rasheed Wallace. He had shown glimpses last year of what could be the perfect 4 in our system. Hopefully dude is hitting the weights hard this off-season. If he could put on 10-15 pound of upper body muscle I think come training camp he would start to see his strength and hopefully realize with his size and touch he has the ability to get low post position against some 4s. He has a shot which makes him capable of putting together a mid-range game. The dream scenerio for me with Ryan Anderson is he starts to rely more on his ball handling advantage over most 4's and ability to get post position and hit midrange and inside jumpers/lay-ups/hooks. If this became his main source of offense but with the ability to step out and hit a 3 whenever he feels the urge I think he could have an awesome year. I think its between Anderson and Redick as far as who has the "break out" year this coming season. C/Dwight Howard - I really and truly hope D12 understands that not only did the conference just get stronger but it happened right in our division. He had the Olympics to blame for the last few summers. The Olympics are over, last year he seemed to spend some time improving but he also shot a movie and did alot with adidas and gatorade. The same seems to be happening this summer. He spent a week with the dream I think and then jetted off to China, did another movie, a bunch of ads, and alot of other non basketball related things. I hope this is just me not really knowing what the kid is doing to improve his game but I really think he needs to spend more then a week or even a few weeks with Hakeem. Hakeem is Dwights ticket to an offensive game. He has the athletic ability to do all the things Hakeem did with a basketball and I think of all the great bigs Dwight has his best shot of emulating Hakeem. I wouldnt mind him spending some time with the Admiral as well. I think Dwight has gotten as much as he can out of Ewing. I truly dont ever see Dwight having the same type of offensive game as Ewing he just isnt that type of player. He has the speed and part of the finess of Olajuwon matched with the strength of The Admiral. So please Dwight, spend more time with these two guys in the off season. Demand that the Magic bring one of them in as an assistant coach(pref Olajuwon). Just work on your game! We can beat the heat, but its going to take a Dwight who brings more to the offensive side of the floor then you did last year. Ill add the bench later if anyone is interested at all in this thread.
  9. If all three guys take the $4million dollar hit that is expected it leaves Miami with around $20million to play with. They also have the MLE and vet min. I hear a lot of talk about Raymond Felton who could be grabbed at a reasonable price and would be a very serviceable starting PG. Mike Miller at the 2/3 as 6th man and what is played as the biggest worry for them(big men) to me doesn't look to be an issue with who all is still out. Big Shaq, Big Z, Brad Miller, not to mention Dexter Pittman. Pittman reminds me of Kendrick Perkins in that he is huge and has that same demenor. I see them grabbing Shaq and Miller at vet min, atleast Shaq coming at the min just to take his ring lead back with Kobe. Miller should do the same but might demand more. Pg-R.Felton/M.Chalmers/?C.Arroyo?/?D.Fisher? SG-D.Wade/M.Miller/D.Butler SF-L.James/M.Miller/J.Varnado/T.Thomas PF-C.Bosh/U.Haslem C-D.Pittman/S.O'neal/B.Miller Some other possiblities are Luke Ridnour, our own JWill & Skip To My Lou, Kurt Thomas, and to me what could turn into something VERY scary Josh Howard. If he comes back from his injury and doesnt have to worry about any pressure he could become the real 6th man. The scariest thing about all of this is if the big three take that kind of pay cut it opens up the heat roster to some dangerous possibilities. That line-up looks scary and has the pieces imo to contain Dwight enough. I still think we can run with them in a 7 game series but I think all the talks of weakness from everyone around the league are not so true. This team could very easily be deep and have quality bigs. I really think Pittman and Varnado are gonna suprise alot of people. What are some other thoughts on what Riley is going to put around his new "Super 3"?

could Florida have two big 3's next year?

If CP3 starts being vocal this season about wanting to be moved I think NO will have its hand forced. In this case if say we took Okafor and CP3 then maybe we could send Shard to them. Since it looks like we are going to match on JJ that gives us a few very nice trade pieces. Gortat, JJ, RA, Bass are all expendable. If we pick up CP3 this puts Meer up for grabs I think with those 5 Especially Meer, JJ, and Gortat we have players with value and that fill different needs(bigs, PG, Shooter) So we have good throw ins for incentive in trading Shard and VC. If we take Okafor off NO's hands and send them Shard and Gortat I could see them moving on that. NO ends up with a starting center and a starting 3 and Collison steps in as the PG. They become imo a stronger team and unload Okafor for two guys who can plug right into there starting 5 and be effective. If CP3 demands a trade I think this ends up being a solid offer that works as far as numbers.

Miami Heat's Top Free Agent Targets

as much as I hate him I honestly figured somehow Shaq would get his name thrown around with Miami. He would fit perfect in the so called Ego-less all star team. he could give a team 15-20mpg and more come playoff time. They should just steal Clevelands big man rotation too. Big Z and Big Shaq at the vet min would be a pretty solid big man rotation for them. Throw Brad Miller in there and between the three all of the sudden Miami's lack of a post presence evaporates.

Correct me if im wrong but since he is a free agent can we resign him to a max deal? Or do we have to get him in a SnT? This was my main reasoning behind him being picked up in the off season. Denver has the cap space to resign him and then ship him to us in a SnT. Also I think CP3-Melo-D12 is a much more effective 3 then Wade-Bron-Bosh. The best PG in the league with a top 5 Wing and the best Ceneter. teams wouldnt be able to double CP3 because of his passing ability and doubling Melo or even coming with help defense on penetration would leave a hole in the paint for Dwight.
