    Garnett for Grant?

We would get rid of a HUGE contract in Hill AND another possible huge contract in Darko. But you guys are so freakin scared of change its amazing. The lineup of.... C: Dwight Howard PF: Kevin Garnett SF: Hedo Turkaglu SG: J.J. Redick(in time) PG: Jameer Nelson ....Would be unmatchable. Who are you going to double team? And if you do, we have the shooters to make you pay. But that would mean change. oooooohhhhhhhh nooooooooooo! "I dont want a championship, because that would mess up our chemistry" TheGodfather While I too would do this trade...you would be picking up a HUGE payroll in KG vs losing a HUGE payroll in GH after this year. In order for DM to really get better, he needs minutes. Look at what playing has done for DH. Giving DM 15-20 mpg is not what we need. He needs 30-35 min (as long as he isn't in FT).

Regarding Dan Brown, I read Digital Fortress as well as Code. Enjoyed both, but I doubt I will read any more of this guy's stuff. My guess is that this guy has used up his bag of tricks. While "Guns of the South" was an interesting read,it was sooo far fetched to be entertaining. Turtledoves subsequent try at American history was much better. the World War (about alien invasion) and Great War (alternative US history) series were well done. I am currently reading his Day's of Infamy series about Japan invading Hawaii after Pearl harbor instead of just the attack. The first book was good. If you like military style fiction, there is non better than Griffin.

well, this is an old thread, but since it started while i was away and I didn't get my chance to voice my opnion....here it is: My favorite authors are: WEB Griffin and Harry Turtledove. When they publish, I buy. Griffin does WWII military history fiction (usually based on OSS, etc). He has a ton of books, but they are always good. He has several different series that he alternates publishing. Each series has 7 or 8 books in them. Turtledove writes fantasy and alternative history. I really like his Alt Hist. books. He's got one series that has the south winning the civil war, and it progresses through WWI (which the North wins), then to WWII (currently fighting)...the US and Germany are allies with GB and the Confederacy allied. Very interesting reading. The most resent book i've read was Dan Brown's Digital Fortress...I thought it was a good book. I read the Davinci Code and liked it. I heard the Angle's and Demons book is good too.

Its so funny...that was the most rediculous thing I have read on this board. Might as well trade B. Outlaw for T. Duncan

Whatever you do though, do not go on Soarin afterwards, I made that mistake and was "soarin" all the way home!!!!! lol

wow, that wasn't even the funniest: here it is: When I was a pledge: My pledge trainer got us all totally destroyed on Yeagarmister (sp?). Once we were all nearing passing out, he told us to go to a certain soriety house to serinade them. So here we are in front of this huge house serinading (singing My Darling Clementine) falling over each other laughing and carrying on. Then out walks the this old man and starts screaming at us. Well... come to find out, we were in front of the President of the University's mansion, just beside Soriety Row...

Lol funny stories: Mine: While in college, a group of fraternity brothers and I stole a 25 cent mechanical horse (you know those outside walmart). brought it back to the frat house. Here we were at 3 in the morning drunk as .... and taking turns riding Thunder The Wonder Horse. The President of the fraternity walks down and joins the festivities. Just as he gets on the horse, the cops walk in (we got reported trying to sneak it in). Needless to say, it was funny as hell, all of us got community service. a year later, I started working for the campus police and they still remembered that.
