  1. Knappy, sometimes you are too harsh.. But I agree with you on this one!
  2. I welcome your decision and I agree a lot of merging will have to be done. There will be plenty of topics, but if we can keep similar articles in same thread, we can have this place very nicely organized even without separate Links forum. Good luck moderating and don't be afraid to move/merge/delete topics. Just everyone has to grasp the concept, but that will take some time, so don't give up too soon!
  3. It has been posted in Links section already, its right here http://orlandomagiczone.com/eve/forums/a/tpc/f/7681025882/m/8611063944 .
  4. I don't think anyone can forget that, here is a video for those that did, .
  5. Fun fact type of article, but I'm guessing it's not just Magic coaches, its whole league that is saying that. But the truth is, Stan is the first Magic coach who is showing some results on the court with such style. Sure it's just preseason, but he got me/us excited more then any other coach did in Magic history.
  6. Postgame Press conference stream. Link also on Nba.com main site.

Exactly, we have a lot of open looks. Ball goes around much faster then last year. We actually look like a team that knows what they are doing, and not just waiting until last second and forcing a shot. Also nice to see Dwight taking shots from further away. Cant comment on much more for now. Go Magic!
  8. Very nice! Hope to see more pictures during the season if you ever go to the games! Also whoever says our cheerleaders are not hot is wrong, or maybe it's just me who have a thing for them!
  9. Jameer is not going anywhere, Otis, SVG, Dwight and Rashard believe in him.
  10. This is the decision Otis made when he decided to sign Rashard Lewis. With 4 SFs it's quite obvious someone has to go and Grant made it easier for everyone. And anyone expecting him to play SG on a contending team is not being realistic, he can't chase around quick guards like Rip/Wade/etc. Or shoot at will for that matter. If we had gotten Carter/JRich/Allen or some other SG, the story would have been different.
  11. Yes. He was. I'm sure he is. Maybe, but not that bad. Ok. There is a reason for everything.
  12. Is this like a joke post? If yes, good job, made me laugh!

  14. quote: Originally posted by Drain-O:First of all that picture of Brian Hill is disturbing!! What do you mean, it's just a nice person handing out food! Anyway that picture still makes me laugh really hard, face expression and everything comes along nice I think and makes it a very funny situation!
  15. C - Shaq PF - Howard SF - Hill SG - Tmac PG - Skiles
  16. My 1st choice would be Vince and then it's close between others, they each got something so it all depends on who else will be on our roster.
  17. quote: Originally posted by Erik:They could have him,as good as G Hill,is, was he is kinda like a thorn to the Magic,he's poisend the team ever since he signed that jumbo contract in 2000,hasn't done a d a m n thing to help the team win,and has clogged our cap for years, why bring a guy back who has caused so much negativity for our team. You can't blame Grant for what happened, blame the management who signed him or the Pistons and incapable doctors who destroyed his ankle and career. He did everything he could to get healthy and play. Once it was signed it's a done deal, you can't reverse the contract and make it disappear.
  18. quote: Originally posted by LilPenny3000:Let him go he isn't that good anymore. Besides for all the talk about GHill being a winner, etc the only thing he was this season was inconsistent. Neither does he have the killer instinct we need. We already have enough passive nice guys with Howard. Finally got mad and criticized the Magic announcer out of all people. Phoenix thinks in getting him they're getting a clutch veteran who will help them get over the top. They could be wrong. Wow, where are you picking this up? If anything he was most consistent of all our players.

Wallace then Grant will be basically forced to sign elsewhere because we will not have enough minutes for him to play I'm glad I am not the only one who thinks this way. I'm sick of these threads and articles creating unnecessary drama. I hope he comes back if there will be room on our roster.
  21. quote: Originally posted by Tough Break There: quote: Shoot, if the Magic and Toronto improve, not to mention Milwaukee and Philly, New Jersey will be lucky to get out of the first round. But then again, if it's all about the money.. then why opt out at all? Why not just take the 16.3 million for next season in Jersey? This doesn't all add up. Agreed. Because he is not getting any younger, and it is best for him to secure his (probably) last big paycheck as soon as possible.
  22. As we have seen through the season, Vince actually likes Brian or at least it appeared so during our games. So I can't see hiring of Hill can have any negative impact on Vince's decision to stay or go.
  23. quote: Originally posted by Erik:Thanks, elephant 27,what do you think about acquring Damar Johson? He can play 2 or 3, good cheap insurance policy incase any of our key guys(JJ,Trevor,Rashard,Dooling) go down. I always liked DerMarr Johnson. I don't know exactly what kind of money is he demanding, but if we will have room he is definitely a nice backup choice.
  24. Nelson / Dooling Carter / Redick Ariza / Hill Milicic/ Battie Howard / Gortat/Augie This is my version of the Magic for next season. I would keep looking for a PG during season in case Nelson doesn't progress in our new system. I would like to somehow keep Diener too, but who knows what are his plans. If Hill packs his bags then 2nd option for SF is Hedo/Ariza combo. Also I would sign 2nd backup SF or maybe get 1 in 2nd round.
