Looks like Dwight and Grant are playing great, also Trevor from the bench with very nice stats so far (3reb,2ast,3stl,6pts). Jameer (unfortuntately) started as usual, but at least he didnt shoot/commit turnovers.

As much as I like Nelson, this year he (together with Hedo)is our "weakest link" and some adjustments must be made soon, but probably won't be before the summer. If we get new SG in the summer, Nelson will probably be given another/final chance. It should be an exciting summer for Otis and the Magic.

junkie I love to read stuff you post and the articles, so don't take me wrong. I think this is just a writer who noticed Grant is playing well, it's not even a rumor or anything. Of course I don't know what they are thinking, but I think they are only interested as much as any team that is looking for a veteran, nothing more. Anyway your title made it more interesting for us, so don't worry, I wasn't trying to say its bad, just not the one I would pick, lol.

After reading the article, I would just like to point out that title is a bit misleading. It's a great article about Grant and what he could be worth to someone, but nothing about him or them actually thinking about making a move.

Why all the hate? I think you are on the wrong forum if you want to bash our players, especially someone who doesn't deserve it at all.

jacklj, I think we all know that JJ is one of the most determined players on our team who will do anything it takes to succeed. You dont have to defende him so much, we are all on the same side.

Grant said he is not interested in being a coach. Let's see how this season will end for Magic and for him and then we can start speculating what will happen. And the reason why he is so motivated right now is definitely that this could be his last season and a chance to get to the playoffs once again after 6 years. If I would be Otis, I would probably do something along these lines: We resign and put him on SF with Ariza. Hedo will most probably be traded in this case, probably in a package with Arroyo and/or Bogans. We also get a cheap SF 2nd backup, in case Grant gets injured so we have someone coming of the bench for Ariza. This could very well be Bogans as a combo SG/SF, but I think we'll get someone else. And finally JJ becomes first backup SG, behind a FA that we get in the summer. Edit: And about his price. Grant stopped playing for money long time ago, so I dont see him demanding any kind of a large sum. If he will decide to keep playing for a year or 2, he will probably take whatever will Otis offer, that begin vet minimum or a mil or 2.

I think that one that rich posted is most realistic one: Dooling, JJ, Trevor, Darko and Dwight. Other possibility being Hill instead of JJ. These 6 guys are giving us best results lately. I would love to put Diener inhere, but because of his lack of experience (very limited playing time)he is staying on the bench for now.
