Paolo having the worst fall off of a kid his age I can remember. He’s awful
He is trying too hard to impress, and is a turnover machine.

Chucking bricks now.

Somebody wake me up and tell me I was having a nightmare.

The Magic's record is 20-15, the Wizards' is 9-25 and the Magic is struggling against this team?
The Wizards have only won 5 home games.
-
What is Mosley doing with these rotations? At one point he had Jones and Richardson on the floor at the same time.

Ima type this out nicely, this team freakin stinks
The same lackluster play happened in the loss to the Hornets. It makes no sense.

we definitely have a big 4. so the talent is there
it definitely is the coaching. there is no way around that
and, if i had to rank the players on this team, frank would definitely be #1, paulo #2, dezmon #3 and antonio #4
Who is dezmon? Who is antonio?

Biggest challenge is getting people to stop saying "paulo". is "paolo", is not that hard....
second biggest is coaching, by far. malone should be here tomorrow
third is health
". . .stop saying "paulo". is "paolo"
Question: what does that dot between "paulo". is "paolo" mean?
Manew, Ginobili, my dear "True Blue Nation" fan and "opinionator" (I looked it up,,,hahaha). The spelling of a name is not one of the options of the pole.
I've seen misspelled names and words from time to time by participants on this message board, but it doesn't bother me. I know what the person meant. I have known people who always criticized another person's clothes. People refer to them as the "fashion patrol".
I guess you might be called the "grammar police"?

Our effort on the glass is killing us night in and night out. Good news is JT said we’re getting both Wagners back this week, which is good, we’re desperate for them. We also need to swing a deal for another bench piece at guard, even if it’s a rental. Monk, White, Sexton, somebody like that because we have more than enough evidence at this point that we can’t rely on Jalen to stay healthy.
I read on ESPN online injuries report that Franz' estimated return will be on Sunday, January 4 vs Pacers and Mo's estimated return will be on Friday, January 9th vs 76ers.

Yeah, the free throws are a problem. He misses too many, especially in the clutch.
WCJ was getting abused by Vuc all night.
Mosley getting out coached again, especially when the opposing team is down their two best players.
Then you had Cain putting up more shots than Bane. How is that even possible?
It's interesting that you mentioned (the bolded). When I first saw Cain enter the game before his other teammates on the bench, I kept wondering, "why"? "what do the coaches think he's so good at"? I was scratching my head about that.

There is no spacing. I don't know what it is, but other teams are collapsing in the paint and around the basket when any of our players try to drive for a layup.
The other teams' centers need to be pulled out to the 3 pt. line away from the basket, allowing a Magic player to drive to the basket for a layup.

Horrible loss to a bad team without two of their best players. I just don’t get it, man. This team should be so much better than they are. I actually, honestly, hate watching them right now.
It was hard to watch. I had to step away from time to time.
At the end of the half I checked the box score and Bane had 14 pts. At the end of the game, he still had 14 pts. So he didn't score anymore after the half. He played 38 minutes--more minutes than anyone else on the Magic.

I don’t know how you watch games. I tend to watch games like scouts. I just like it.
If you don’t watch games like that then maybe i agree with you.
When i watch Goga like a scout would, its just noticeable that he has off nights with his motor. On some nights the energy and the spirit is there. But for instance against Indiana, i’d assume he’d have some fire. But he’s getting out hustled by Nesmith and other guards out there. Also Jabari Walker.
I will get me a pair of those binoculars though lolHi, Orlandoholic. I love to make and challenge comments made about our Orlando Magic. As I said in a previous post I agree with most (not all) of your observations about the team. Many times I agree with your take on what's happening or not happening with the team and the coaching. I hope you are not offended by the binoculars. I was just kidding.

My take on Bane. It’s also an issue with injuries but also scheme design.
He was best and even elite early in the season where he’d also have some time off ball and we’ve seen why they call him „FlyBy King“.
We don’t see that anymore. Bane is forced to playmake and that’s just not him. He can do that from time to time, but asking him to playmake full time is bad.
Speaking of playmaking. Our whole flow went down the drain with injuries and imo coach installed a bad rotation. Especially AB, Suggs, Bane in the starting lineup. AB should’ve been back with the bench rotation and give them stability.
Right now, we are asking TDS to be a leader of that second unit and that’s just not him. TDS needs to play alongside the starters right now and AB first off the bench
+1 Orlandoholic I agree with everything you said.

Gogas issues why he almost dropped out of the league are showing again. He plays with a very low motor right now. Gone are the days where Goga was a great rim protector and also a great Rebounder. He looked like he could be Gortat 2.0 (while he was fighting for a contract?)
Now he shows Mo Bamba like motor with occasional blocks.
No way! Nobody moves as slow as Mo Bamba. When getting back down the floor, Goga may not run as fast as his speedier teammates, but they don't have to wait for him to get back into position. Mo Bamba runs like a baby giraffe and everyone leaves him behind.
Orlandoholic I agree with you on most of your opinions, but for this one you might need these: :)

What I also don't understand is why so many Orlando Magic Fans are down on Goga. I think he is valuable to this team as a backup. He scores more than a handful of points from time to time, but I also think he is needed to go up against the opposing teams' centers that are too tall or too big for WCJ to match up against.
Last night against the Pacers Goga scored 14 pts, 9 rebounds in 19 mins.
I love watching the tandem of Goga and Bane when Bane tosses the ball up in the air to Goga for the "alley-oop" and Goga scores.

. . . I agree Richardson sometimes dribbles too much, but he doesn’t get blocked in the paint as often as Bane does?!? I’m not saying he’s great, I’m just saying he is more effective in the paint
. . . I think he has potential if he can learn the control from Jones, while maintaining his energy. He is already better on D than Jones.
Okay, my friend, here is how I look at Bane being blocked in the paint. I believe opponents study their tapes on Bane. They know that one of his favorite moves is driving the paint and making those side layups off the backboard. If you notice, when Bane positions himself below the 3 pt. line and directly in front of the goal (without the ball), I believe the opposing team knows he is going to get the ball and dribble to the left or right side of the goal for his "signature layup".
Okay, okay,,,now as a point guard, you are expected to score more than 4 pts in a game and make more than one (1) assist.
Last night against the Pacers: (of course it's based on minutes played by Bane and Richardson)
Bane : 18 pts, 7 rebounds and 6 assists. = 33 mins. played
Richardson: 0 pts, 0 rebounds, 0 assists = 8 mins. played

. . .Richardson dribbles too much, he tries to make layups surrounded by a bunch of trees and plays out of control. To me, he looks like a little midget (among taller opponents) running around on the court.
So, "no", we need to upgrade the point guard position.
Unlike Anthony Black, who plays point guard and stands at 6ft 7inches . . .
Both Richardson and Jones need a pair of these:

I think you might want to reconsider - Augustin played well here for several seasons and beat out several younger prospects, Joseph played well as a guy who was supposed to be our third-string, emergency backup; and while Jones had a rough start, he has in fact played fairly well of late filling in for the injured Suggs/AB moving up to start. I think Richardson will eventually take Tyus’ minutes, but in the meantime, he can learn a lot from Jones on taking care of the ball and keeping it moving.
I agree with the 1st and 2nd (bottom) bolded parts.
1.) Augustine was a very good point guard. He was a very good floor general, keeping the ball moving; also he was a good 3 pt. scorer. I wish I could post highlights, but the message board system won't let me and says I am over the amount of usage for uploading videos allowed.
2.) I'm not sold on Jones or Richardson. In my opinion, Richardson dribbles too much, he tries to make layups surrounded by a bunch of trees and plays out of control. To me, he looks like a little midget (among taller opponents) running around on the court.
So, "no", we need to upgrade the point guard position.

The Orlando Magic has won one more game than my second favorite team, Golden State Warriors. We are currently first in our division.

Is Bane's back bothering him the reason he is subbed out for long periods?
