Stan himself called Dwight out about the very same thing earlier in the regular season. In a postgame conference, he said that Dwight was too focused on his offensive game instead of being focused more on defense. Stan said that if Dwight had at least 3 blocks a game, the Magic would win a lot of games. Sure enough, Dwight came out the very next game blocking shots left and right, and the Magic went on a winning streak.

My greatest concern is individual players trying to single handedly win the game: a) by dribbling out the time on the shot clock to create their own shot, B) chucking up ill-advised shots (viewing this as opportunity to be the hero of the game and interviews in the post conference). . .Seriously!

Except for a couple of responses, I'm so happy to see so many of you speak out on this issue. There is no sense in trying cover up what is an obvious major issue. We are all fans and love this team. And we know that we have one of the best teams and talented players in the league. With a few tweaks Stan can right this ship.
