    What about Wilson Chandler?

We can get better than Wilson Chandler for Gortat, i'm pretty sure of that. That being said, I do like Wilson Chandler and wouldn't be opposed to him in another trade, I just think Gortat is something we should hang onto until a disgruntled star becomes free later in the season.

Its not who starts it's who finishes. I seriously believe that based upon the postseason, JJ showed more heart and hustle, and contributed more to the team that Vince, especially in the Boston series.

    Does Vince deserve another chance?

He had what he wanted, a shot at a championship. He didn't come through at all. Championship windows are never open for long, and we can't risk ours hoping that vince turns up next year because he's in a contract year. We need to surround Dwight with the best possible players, and based upon last season, VC isn't the best that I believe we can get.

He made the guards look bad during the months of February and March, apart from that he didn't really make many guards look bad at all.
  5. I'm still utterly confused as to where John Amaechi and Carlos Arroyo fit in to this topic?

Arenas trade hinges on Howard OK.

Surely we'd need to trade Gortat, Pietrus and Bass along with Meer and Shard to get those salaries anywhere near matching?

Didn't realise he expired this season as well, my bad. That being said, I'm still unsure as to whether Butler gets us over the hump.

I really like the Al Jefferson trade idea, I think the guy would be a beast if properly utilised next to Dwight and would give a solid twin tower line up a la Duncan and Robinson in San An. Portland idea is total bs and Caron Butler could turn out to be just another wince.

    World Cup Game Thread

After reading some of the utter rubbish in the amerian media such as USA wins 1-1 when the USA drew with England, i'm glad in a way that Ghana won. I feel sorry for the genuine football fans, but having countless arguments with loads of Americans online simply for being English i'm not bothered for the majority.

Magic going in for Chris Paul

Kennedy may be on to something after all. Surely this makes us worse? We need a go to scorer, and none Hinrich, Foye or Thornton can be classified as a go to scorer. Plus it ties us down with even less cap room.

Just in case anyone is wondering about any "buzz," etc. Not saying I'm in on every trade talk the organization makes, but once a deal is set in place/close to done, I get a heads up to get things ready for the web site. Confirmed. I just got a text from an incredible source (Junkie's main person) that says there is no truth to a Paul deal being done. Sorry guys. I am crushed. Snap, have been F5'ing this thread for the last couple days.
