    ECF Pre-Sale Tickets/Regular Sale

I just talked to a ticket rep and he told me that all three games are sold out. The only way to get tickets was ticket exchange

    An Argument for Rashard

Here is a argument for Rashard. We all understand that he is over paid. However he is only over paid by 3 million or so. If Rashard signed a 5 year 85 million dollar deal, starting at 13 million, what most people believed that he should have signed for. His contract would be similar to Dwight's and he would be in the 2nd year of that deal that would pay him about 14.5 million. This year Rashard is going to make 17.2 million. Thats a difference or around 3 million. Now 3 million or so would help quite a bit right now with us trying to sign role players and stay under the tax and it could come in handy trying to resign Turk next year but its only around 3 million and its a done deal. So lets move on.

    What Will Otis Do ???

This is what I believe will happen this off season. I think Otis will draft a PF someone big, physical, able to play along side D12. I am thinking Robin Lopez. I think he will resign Keyon Dooling. I think he will sign Mikael Pietrus. I think Evans or Bogans will be gone, I think he would rather have Evans and that will happen if Bogans opts out. Hedo is not going anywhere neither is Jameer. J.J. Redick will be traded hopefully for Javaris Crittenton bringing in a big point guard. Giving us a roster of PG: Jameer/Keyon >Javaris SG: Mikeal/Evans SF: Rashard/Hedo >Rashard PF: Tony/Robin C: Dwight/Robin

Poll: Jameer Nelson or Kirk Hinrich?

Kirk and Jameer are a lot alike on offense but kirk is a much better defender. I'll pay the extra 25% and take the up grade in defense.

tough roster decisions needed to be made

I just want to ask as you ship out all those players who do you play to replace them with. the goal for this team this off season is to get better defensively, get better on the boards and get more depth on the bench. If you trade everyone then thats kinda hard to do.

    CDR

Come on guys lets be real. While I like CDR and Brandon Rush, if either of them were going to be the answer to defending the Detroit back court they would be selected much higher than 22 in the draft. these guy will be solid contributers on a NBA team some day but not right out of college. The Tayshuan Princes are one in a million. This draft is much deeper at PF and I think we would be better served by using #22 for a big

We have to get better at the 1 and 2 and force more teams into jump shots. Along with that, placing too much emphasis on the draft isn't my ideal thought. At 22, It'll be a good tool to add to the quality of depth, nothing more, nothing less. I agree with both of these coments, I can't understand why so many people believe that adding two or three rookies drafted in the late first or second round are going to improve our squad so much. There simply aren't many guys taken in those spots that come into the league and become solid contributors right away. Question, why not Robin Lopez who is a great defender, good passer and already knows how to play with a dominent big man.
  8. Thanks for your service to our country. Stay safe man, God bless.

    What makes you believe?

I think guys have learned to embrace their roles to this team under SVG. 2. The Rashard Lewis signing, he gives us the go-to-guy we need. 3. Dwight's development. 4. Taking advantage of the team's strength, by shooting 3 pointers. 5. We mentally tougher than last year 6. We are winning on the road.

What would your rotation look like if you were Stan?

Makes Jameer the third option for offense for our starting line up, witch I think would help his production. You still have 10 players up there. But I think Reddick, Evans and Dooling you would use when the match up calls for it.
  12. quote: Senseless, move a hot scoring player to the bench because a PG is not doing the scoring? This is not Peewee basketball league, we need the PG to get the scorers involved not to take points off the starters.LOL Its not a senseless move. We have to reduce the minutes D12 and Reshard are playing and the only way to do that is to have a consistent bench to go to. This move give us a more traditional starting lineup and we won't fall off as much when Reshard and D12 go to the bench. Carlos moving the ball as well as he has been lately with Hedo and Mo to pass the ball to our offensive production shouldn't fall off as much
  13. You guys have got this all wrong. There are starting lineup changes that need to be made, but not with Carlos or Jameer. We need more consistent production from our bench. I think we need to make a move similar to what the Spurs and Mavs have done. Move Hedo to the bench and start Cook. This move frees up Jameer to score more because there won't be as many scorers on the court. It also allows us to have a star comming off the bench to give us a solid second unit, witch will allow the starters to get some rest we are playing Reshard and Dwight almost 40 min per game, the won't hold up over the long season playing that much.

    This TRADE Confirms...

quote: Chief, what need has he addressed? We needed a big that could help Dwight defensively and crash some boards, block some shots. Instead he gives us a finnesse (if you can even call him that) big that hits the occasional 3, has an apparent awful workrate and is a complete liability defensively. We have enough dam shooters we need some defense so what do we do, trade our best man to man defender in exchange for a scrub and a pretty decent 2 guard, who is also predominantly, a shooter. With this trade we got are able to address a very serious concern that we all should have in this early season. Dwight and Reshard are playing a lot of minutes right now and we have a long season in front of us if you look at other top tear teams in the league there key guys average somewhere in the mid to low 30's in minutes played. Our guys are playing almost 40. If that continues our guys will not hold up and will not have anything left to make a run deep in the playoffs. These guys will give us a bench that we can use, they will give us some depth. Before this we didn't have the option of allowing the bench to play extended minutes we fell off so much offensively that we couldn't afford to let our starters stay off the floor for long. Cook will give use the option to move Hedo to the bench, in a move much like San Antonio did with Manu Ginobili or Dallas did with Jason Terry.

    3 Team Deal??

I like the idea of this deal. But I don't think David lee's salary works something would have to be included with him. He is making less than a mil next year while Ron is making almost 8 and Hedo is Making 6.3. While I like David Lee, if we retain our current three bigs our most pressing issue will be SG with Grant gone. So I think we should try to get Quentin Richardson or Jamal Crawford in this deal, Isiah might be willing to let one of them go if Ron comes to town.
