He is the guy Dallas got after that tie breaking win....we got Shaquille O'neal....and its even worse the heat jumped them and got Alonzo Mourning. Laettner went to Minny leaving garbage for Dallas. Anyone want to know why Mark Cuban is deliberately tanking need only ask how much losing Shaquille O'neal cost the Mavs.

Yes I do...I havent enjoyed the last decade of gross incompetence and mismanagement by our team. Ive pointed out two late season 3 game win streaks which would put us in a substantially worse position than 3 meaningless losses would. I am aware that our picks didnt drop substantially for 2 of those 3 years but this year is quite different as I have said. Quite frankly when we knew we were horrible which was usually about mid January we should have gone full tank rather than half tank. I know no one likes to lose but Id damn sure rather be in the Sixers shoes than ours and its not even remotely close. They are probably 5 years ahead of us best case. Truthfully who the hell wants to watch a 20 win team or even a 30 win team with bare bones assets. Its just not fun period. Here is to losing out until years end...great loss to the Hawks today.

Lets see we won 2 of the last 4 last year which dropped us from a tie with Philly one spot The year prior we won 6 of the last 10 (including a meaningless 3 game win streak) dropping from 5 to 9 The year prior to that we won 3 of the last 7 (including another meaningless 3 game win streak). We are winning over 50% of these meaningless late season games...for what? Does it really inspire the players or fans for the next year after losing 50-60 games and being the worst team in the league? Prior years haven't been as bunched up as this group of tankers either. Another 3 game win streak and we drastically reduce our chances in the lottery and if we don't hit the lottery we probably drop 4 spots from where we are. A higher pick is a better asset period...if we move up one more spot we may get an Embiid or Porzingas and not a project talent like Mario.

Im waiting for the usual meaningless 3 game win streak at years end that screws us every year but it hasn't happened despite Vogel playing our starters way too much for proper tanking. These next few games are so meaningless to this season but so meaningful for our future rebuild. Hopefully someone in our organization values the tank accordingly.

Critical game tonight....losing bumps the Suns win total up....winning bumps us back into the collection of teams that sit above us with some other critical games to play this week. Gotta hope for the big loss!

Interestingly from March 24 to Apr 4th our team will determine its draft fate with 7 IN A ROW versus teams with comparable records (+/- 2 games). All winnable games and all losable games. We could essentially nail down the best odds for #1 by losing all of them or pick #9 by winning them. IMO Ive seen a decade of misery so what more does two weeks make....Id like to see us nail down #1 or #2 and take a jump to relevancy. Those high picks (if used correctly) can breath life into this putrid franchise. Who knows maybe a Penny Hardaway style trade surfaces for us....god knows we need it.

I would rather win one or two more games and then trade our pick and a future first (since we dont have Phillys anymore) to move up two spots. Common sense and our management dont see eye to eye around here.

We only need to win just enough games this year to insure we draft at 7 in a 6 player draft...per usual. This organization cant even be good at screwing up when they need to screw up. Management is going to do everything possible to sell tickets with the premise of a 30 win season next year only to put a 20 win product with no hope of significant improvement on the floor. We just have no clue how to develop a winner here.
