JJs great, you guys tell me how many players playing in this league arent defensive liabilities. Most of you guys can never be happy, always pessimistic, its bad karma and part of the reason this organization/team have been mediocre.

All I know is this team plays well when JJ is in the game.

Look at the 09' Draft, they have 2 Dukies in the top 5 with a potential 3rd if Duke lands the #1 highschool player next year in Greg Monroe. Singler and Henderson are really really talented guys. Wouldnt shock me if those guys actually went into the top 5 and you guys will see why this year.

The ONLY offense I could see JJ being a PG is in the triangle offense where its more of a half court thing, but JJ can handle the ball on the break and give a sweet dish. Thats why Kerr and Paxon did so well. Essentially shooters in a PG position, though JJ can be better than them. Better athlete better shooter.

Is this all official, or still in the works? I have yet to see Garnett being officially traded to Boston.

Lets not forget that Dudley is 6'7" and has about 40-50 lbs on JJ, thats not fair, especially in a summer league game where he doesnt have any help defense. Since when has Ariza or Darko done shyt in this league? Some of you guys praise them like they are all stars, we'll they arent. You guys are just watching basketball, you arent observing it. JJ probably will be gone after this season so there wont be too many more threads about him, he could start for a number of teams IMO like the Jazz (best fit IMO), Houston, Timberwolves, Cleveland Magic obviously, Golden State if Monta Ellis leaves, Clippers, maybe even the Heat if they let Wade be the playmaker instead of strictly being the scorer, they could be a formidable backcourt.

I love JJ, one of my favorite players of all time in any sport, but lets not put TOO much stock into one game, he could have a bad shooting night then everyone's opinion will change again. When he is on, he is one of the best shooters alive period. I think he could be the best three point shooter in the NBA as long as he isnt the first or second option on the team. He is better than Jason Kapono.

Amen to that, Im tired of the sissies on this board, everyone crying and complaining all the time. Darko was the #2 pick overrall and this is his 2nd team now, hes not even average at best and those who thinks hes going to be a superstar need to watch non stop basketball for a whole year. Sure he has some skill, but thats about it. There is nothing inside of him thats going to make him a great player.

Its really not a fair comparison, this is JJ's 2nd year in the NBA with very limited playing time in the 1st year for more than one reason, lets see what he can do on the court and for the team before we say get rid of him. Ariza has had opportunities.

Defense is a mind set and the whole team must believe it. San Antonio had 1 great perimeter defender, JJ is no worse than Paker and Ginobli and Finley at this stage in his career at defense, its about keep teams out of the paint, if you can do that, you will be successful. Just funnel everything to D-12 and everything will be okay

This is big news, probably just as big as getting Lewis. Him and Dwight are very comparable players and Dwight might be a little more developed at this age.

The Magic did chose Redick #11 overrall last year right? Why draft him only to trade him the next year? They might trade Darko, but they didn't draft Darko.
