Ummmm, I'm not sure if you're being facetious or serious, no offense He's being the American word for Junkie which is a jerk. Having 8 threads about the same thing is just as counterproductive as having a 700 page thread. Atleast people know to go to that thread, and things are quoted and discussed enough. But don't worry, he'll just ignore logic and reason as always. Or retort with something completely off base. It's like you try to give the guy a chance and he just pulls you back in so easily. It's really hard. No Jareth... It's just that most of us don't have the time to sift through all of the crap on the other thread. I have no problem with a separate thread from time to time. The other CP3 thread has morphed into an absolute cluster****.

It's the biggest reason why I don't read this forum much anymore. Too many yo yo's who clog every thread up with bull****.

    Paul wants out (with link)

I see this thread got hijacked by the local idiots...... In any case Orlando has more to offer to NO than any other team that I can think. If NO actually does trade CP3, a trade to Orlando makes alot of sense. We can take Okafur and offer them at least 2 salary friendly players as well as a couple of draft picks.

    Chris Duhon to join Magic

He's a solid floor general that plays defense. Good signing for the price.

  7. This has been one helluva game to this point. Atlanta's doing everything they need to do to steal one on the road. We really need to keep them off the glass. 2nd chance points are killing us.

Looks like Cleveland got Jamison (Link)

quote: Originally posted by AnotherCavsFan:Stock, To say Jamison has an ego is the most absurd post I've read in a while. He's where he is for the same reason Shaq is where he is. To win a ring for the King, and perhaps himself as well....lol.. Totally agree with you.... As a life long Magic fan I can honestly say that the Cavs will march to the finals this year. The addition of Jamison without giving up any young talent definately makes your ball club the team to beat. If Powe can come back and give anything at all you guys will kick *** from here on out....

OS article: SVG on VC, Dwight on Vince motivating him

quote: Originally posted by bringithomerashard: quote: Originally posted by LinkZ2009:There is nothing to complain about him hes driving his *** to the hoop like we all want him too ... but as we all watch the games , he doesnt get calls.. single digits in points 9 of his last 12 games, i bet it all has to do with him "not getting calls" especially his 38% shooting from the field He needs to adapt as a player who's getting older. If he can learn to be an actual facilitator on offense than his shots will come more easily. I will give Vince some credit on one thing imparticular. As bad as his offense has been he's playing much harder defense in the last several games. We really need him to continue it.

OS article: SVG on VC, Dwight on Vince motivating him

quote: Originally posted by VCdaCarter: quote: Originally posted by ThuglifeJ:well theres no question NJ is nothing without Vince this year. it's just confusing that he can go 20+/5+/5 for them last year with mostly scrubs all while being double teamed the whole time. It's not adding up right now, but I believe it'll eventually work out. I honestly don't believe he's been given the opportunity to get those #'s with this team. It's gotten to the point where his teammates are almost ignoring him on the offensive end. Regardless if he's not shooting well, he was brought here to be the go to guy but they're not going to him. Just once I would like to see him play with the second unit to see how that works out. You obviously haven't looked at his numbers all year long. Fact of the matter is he has been given the opportunity to be the go to man. He's taken by far more shots than any player on this team so far this year. Vince has attempted 571 shots so far this year. nobody else on this team has attempted more than 450 shots. Your arguement doesn't hold water.

In my opinion Vince is only part of the problem with this team. I can think of 2 more players in particular that are just as big of a problem at this point. He'll only take part of the blame.......

    The Truth From The Truth

yea it is called 2 things either being too confident or showing a total lack of respect to your opponets Actually it's neither of those 2 things you mention. The Magic have always been successful when they push the ball. The offense has the scorers to get it done, but everytime we revert to a half court offensive minded team we struggle to score points. The 2 guys that come to mind immediately for me are Jameer Nelson and Vince. They are quite content walking the ball up the court and we get into our offensive sets very slowly. This is also affecting Dwight's game in a very negative way. Dwight's play this year has been down because we can't get easy buckets for him. Jameer's totally lost his nerve to drive hard to the hoop. I've noticed it since he's comes back from the injury in the playoffs last year. If Nelson doesn't push the ball and take it hard to the hoop on a regular basis then he's absolutely useless in my eyes. Last year Nelson broke down players on the perimeter which created alot of easy alley oops to Howard. Turk did it as well. Those easy shots aren't there this year. Howard has to earn every bucket in the post or on the offensive glass. It's no wonder his game is down this year. I dont like this starting lineup at all. We are NOT a half court team and our offense suffers when we try to play it. Our defense is fed by our offensive pace to boot. When we push the ball we also have a tendency of playing more tenacious defense. JJ isn't big enough to cover starting 2 guards in the league on a consistant basis, but he moves the ball well. Jameer cant run an offense, but JWill cant play extended minutes or guard the quicker or taller guards. We still have a definate dilemma in the back court...... I want the ball to move and JWill pushes the ball. Our offense thrives in that system. We should start JWill and Peaches and bring Nelson and JJ off the bench. I'd still start Vince at the 3 and bring Barnes off the bench for much needed defense and rebounding. In a perfect world..... I'd trade Nelson for a young taller PG that can run an offense and Vince would be traded for a wing player who's actually somewhat in his prime, but we have what we have. We really need a floor general for our all-star center and that's one luxury that we just dont have.

    The last time I checked.........

I am not putting the blame on VC but imo I think SVG is underutilizing the talent he has right now. Everything about the team is mediocre and our wins are so so except the win against Boston. Most players' stats are down, not one player but all core players' stats are down this season. I love our team but something is very wrong and must be fixed asap. Well Said!! We are the best team in the NBA! The reason why this is not recognized League wide is based upon the obvious fact that to this point we failed to produce (convincingly) at the elite levels. I attribute this to our failure to develop or produce working combo's when the stretch 4 is inaffective. When they take away the 3pt shooters, or when the better perimeter defensive teams press the 2,3 and 4 spot, we fail to get Dwight the ball.....and that is the formula that has proven the most successful against us. Thus the question as to the Bass DNP-CD?? Next....If Jameer is not ready, sit him down until he is! JWill has proven to provide what is needed in the starting lineup, this chemistry is now absent with Jameer out of cync at this point in time. If Dwight is not getting the looks because of double teams, Get him a 4 in there that will help him bang and rebound in a conventional PF approach. If your going to play RA, than he and Shard need be able to play the traditional PF game and bang with the bigs, if not......sit them or make further adjustments with them, in the form of other combinations such as playing Bass and Marcin together, with Marcin at the 4, giving Bass the backup 5 mins! Let's face it...no one is laying down for us, and everyone is prepared to exploit our weak areas, which basically come down to perimeter D and double Dwight and make him give it up or turn it over! Bottom line, we need to adjust. Now! Stopped reading there. some1 ban these trolls O.K. beleive it or not, it is o.k. to disagree, but this is what makes America Great! I typically don't respond to the children who find their way onto the board, but before you confuse a true Magic fan, supporter or even HOMMER, which I also qualify as...check the post count and the time on board here! What is obvious is that for many of you really sour guys, this is the only place to go when you need to vent your 'OTHER ISSUES IN YOUR LIVES" which speaks volumes! God Bless, and I hope the wife or whatever allows you to have a say somwhere other then here! Wow!! and your point is? His point was he quit reading after someone said we were the best team in the league. Our pace is 48-18 at present. We wont win 60 in our wildest imagination at this point. 53 to 55 wins would be fantastic in my opinion. This team lacks chemistry and both Lewis and Nelson are sucking wind these days.We were better last year in my opinion.
