well on the bright side the didn't ditch the Magic for the Heat.

Rush wasn't attacking George S. He was mocking Jesse Jackson for calling Dan Gilbert a slave owner. He was making a political point, he wasn't being racist. A big problem is people like to attack Rush without listening to him on a a regular basis or even knowing the context. He was mocking people who play the race card by showing how a white guy has done a lot for african americans. It was anything but racist.

Skip is actually one of the smarter guys b/c he doesn't buy into hype. He usually makes a pick or two out of the blue and the Hawks are one of those picks. I can understand why someone wouldn't trust this Orlando team.

The problem right now is that at best we are going to have as good as roster as last year, there are no plans to improve the team. Just resigning the same team while other teams continue to improve.

There isn't really a contending team that I could see JJ go to and contenders make a lot more sense than some up and coming team. I wouldn't be surprised if the Knicks offer him a contract but I doubt JJ would want to go there even though a fastbreak offense would be perfect fit.

my theory is that someone else is going to want him, meaning they are going to over pay him so the Magic will have a harder time matching. the only way another team could get him is to overpay, and I see that happening the question is do the Magic match an offer that is overpaying him?
