Curious: What players would be untouchable in a deal for Murray for you guys?
-
I mean, Chuma has started. Lol
-
What in the world???
-
Here's what I believe: Untouchables Paolo and Franz Doubtful Suggs... then Carter, Black, Moe, Joe Maybe but probably not Jett, Cole, JI, Caleb, Goga On the block Fultz, Harris, Okeke It's an interesting exercise, as I believe Moe and Joe provide intangible chemistry pieces, especially for Franz. Furthermore, I wonder if Atlanta is demanding Suggs in any Murray trade.

This, along with Fultz’s maintenance, is bad on so many levels. Young guys, and young teams, need consistency. Very tired of the situation with these two specifically.
-
I’m with Jon. Two issues with Kelle: 1. He’s limited in his availability… by being hurt a lot, 2. He’s limited in his ability… by not having an outside shot. If we can upgrade, I believe it’s a must.

Franz is so good, so versatile. Loved seeing Mose run the offense through him. So much space tonight and easy buckets under the basket for others.

No idea about any ill between Klutch and Orlando, but Brogdon is a Klutch guy, too. Maybe we should ask Junkie to look into it. He was a lead investigator for these boards back in the day ❤️

I’m totally confused with this. Our starters had nine total assists. That’s very bad.

Preach! Lol

I’ll be disappointed if we don’t leverage our expiring contracts for a solid trade. Fultz and Isaac have both proven to be completely unreliable, and for far too long we’ve had unreliable point guard play. I think a real possibility is a guy like Schroder, given his relationship with the Wagner brothers. I’d personally rather have Murray, but I’m hoping for some upgrade. I also think Brown would be a great addition, as he’s a great, versatile role player.

I really like Mose and respect Weltman, but our core and rotation are out of whack right now. A guy like Mo Wagner needs to play. Guys like Chuma don’t need to play. We have no starting point guard. I’d argue a trade not only should happen but needs to happen. Murray, Brogdon, Jones… get us a legit lead guard.
-
If I’m keeping any of the guys mentioned, it’s easily WCJ. He’s on a great contract and has been relatively healthy here (relative to the others being mentioned).
-
Realistically, I think Paulo, Franz and Jalen are all untouchable or borderline untouchable. And given the culture we’ve built, I’d be surprised if we make a massive move. I’d love a guy like Simons, especially with his Orlando ties. But realistically I think we’ll target a guy like Brogdon.
-
Yes, I think Fultz is simply an expiring. We’ll have to be throw picks into any deal.
-
Stein is also saying we’re open to trading WCJ. Strapped in!
-
On a positive note, kudos to Mose for starting Caleb, as I think it’s improved our shooting and spacing. We still need a point guard.
-
What’s hard for me is Miami is great at finding more established, young guys like Jaquez who can really play, whereas often we draft raw, young guys who aren’t ready to play. Honestly, given we have two stud wings now in Franz and Paulo, I believe our drafting strategy needs to change.

“Orlando was without Franz Wagner(sprained ankle) and Wendell Carter Jr. (sore right knee). It was the fourth consecutive missed game for both; Carter has appeared in only 13 games so far this season. Jalen Suggsplayed only 14 minutes, largely because he was dealing with an illness that seems to be working its way through Orlando's locker room.” https://www.espn.com/nba/recap/_/gameId/401585163

I’m really ready to move on from certain players. Guys like Fultz, Harris, and JI would be good role players, yet none can consistently stay on the court.
-
If we could get a first for Isaac, I'd trade him. He's too unreliable/unavailable physically for my liking.
-
So have we traded for a starting point guard yet?
-
Given his Injury history, I’d rather give up the Denver first, which might be enough. I agree that he’d fit perfectly in Orlando.

I wanted Wallace. I'm not betting against Black, but Wallace fit our team (vs. our prototype) better. The Howard pick baffled most of us, but to be fair, he's received little burn.
