Suggestion for all: When you don't like a post, just post "Click." This is what they do on Pewter Report and it is very effective at getting your point across while not being disrespectful.

an Apology to Dwight Howard....from me....

Junkie, you are doing that which you hate having done to you. Please, brother, don't go there. -
This thread just bombed quickly

How can you say Jameer was just "Ok"? Jameer: 22 Mins (12 pts, 5 assists, 0 TO) Carlos: 21 Mins (13 pts, 4 assists, 1 TO) That turnover could have easily cost us the game. This is just a horrible comment from your end. Very idiotic comment that deserves no merit. Uhhh ... it was humor.

Prod, you have my vote!

Where did they go? Are they hurt? I had to watch the Denver feed and didn't hear a thing about their disappearance.

I am trying to look at this objectively. This summer we will need to sign a back-up PG. It will be Keyon or Carlos or perhaps someone like Chris Duhon. My question is, who should it be? (Two things to really consider: 1. Who is the most injury prone? 2. If it is someone like Duhon, it well eat into our mid-level exemption).

Perfect! How about you and I contact the Magic front office and schedule a meeting with Otis to become part time consultants for the scouts? In all seriousness, Otis has promised Junkie a personal interview with him in the near future. Perhaps you guys can go with him???

It really pains me to say anything good about a Tar Hell. Come on ... soft? Undersized? Sure. Soft? That might be one of the last words I'd use to describe him and I'm not a Tar Heel fan. "Hansbrough is a warrior in the paint. Outworks everyone for rebounds and second-chance putbacks. Strong, physical player who isn't afraid to do the dirty work. Does a great job of getting to the line and is a pretty decent free-throw shooter for a big man. Great motor. Turning himself into a polished scorer.... Scouts love the tenaciousness with which he plays the game." http://insider.espn.go.com/nbadraft/draft/tracker/playe...18875&draftyear=2008

Something to consider ... Who was the starting PG when LA made their championship runs with Kobe and Shaq? How many points and assists did he average in those years? http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/players/stats?playerId=246

Why do we need this post when our PGs just played solid, winning basketball? IMO, it is nice having two players, not just one, that can dribble and pass on the court at the same time.

The Official Marcin Gortat Appreciation Thread

BTW, anyone ever think Chad Ford is wrong? "Chad Ford's Analysis: OK. I liked the Channing Frye and Nate Robinson selections. David Lee, not so much. Don't get me wrong, I like Lee. He is very athletic (he measured as the top athlete in the power forward category at the Chicago combine), has a great motor and is very tough. He's a more skilled version of Bo Outlaw or Mark Madsen. But with guys with much bigger upside, like Chris Taft and Andray Blatche, still on the board, I'm not sure why Isiah decided to play it safe. Lee will be a rotation player in the league for 10 years. But given their deficiencies up front, Isiah should have swung for the fences. Instead he hit a solid single at 30. Draft Projection: No. 21 to 40 overall Notes: Won the McDonald's All-American dunk contest as a high school senior. Positives: Lee is another college senior on the NBA's "Most Underrated" list. A big man who can run the floor, Lee plays both inside and on the perimeter, shoots a high percentage and grabs rebounds. He's a big leaper and can score and handle with both his left and his right. One of the better passing big men in college hoops. Negatives: Lee has played out of position for most of his college days and hasn't performed to the level many scouts expected when he came out of high school. His defense also needs a lot of work. A poor perimeter shooter. Summary: The MVP of the Chicago predraft camp also tested as the most athletic power forward. If his offense were further along, he'd be higher on the list. As it stands, he has to wonder whether 10 power forwards can make it into the first round." http://proxy.espn.go.com/nba/draft/d05/tracker/player?playerId=18729

Tyler Hansbrough = the next David Lee. No brainer to me.

Magic seek some respect tonight, maybe without Jameer

Gruden, get off these boards and get a speedy wide-out for us. Please, focus. The Bucs need a playmaker. The time is now. -

While I'd like Duhon b/c of his balance and leadership, I voted for Keyon b/c of his versatility and the economic factor. However, Keyon is injured A LOT: http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/players/stats?playerId=209. He seems to miss 20+ games a year b/c of injury. Not good. Perhaps that is why Carlos is still around ... not just as security for this season but also as security for this summer's decision making process. -

Why isn't Duhon fair? -
I will say this, though, that your site is very well put together.

I think this is way premature and unnecessary.

About Dwight's goatee (or lack thereof)? He has two random patches of peach fuzz on his chin. Did he lose a bet? Do they have names? Are they real? Are they there for intimidation?
