A lack of stars or big names on the team is definitely part of the reason. The biggest reason is our young guys have a tendency to finesse their shots at the rim, not drawing or initiating contact. You'll see this on a majority of Dipo and Payton's layups.

I'm amazed no one else has mentioned that starting this season the NBA's playoff seeding will be based solely on record. Division champions no longer a factor in seeding going forward, which may make it harder for the Magic to make the playoffs.

Based off of what I saw from Appling yesterday, I'd tend to agree. The question is how well Appling can play the point and how solid his 3pt shot is. -

Beat me to it. I'm going to miss Kyle's magnificent beard which he cut toward the end of the season. Think the Knicks will be pleased with his work ethic, rim protection, and decent jumper. My main complaint about O'Quinn is the pathetically soft screens he set, which allowed defenders to stay with their man. Hope he fixed this, just not against us.

Chris Singleton playing for ORL White just missed a 3 ft hook shot. Detroit's Justin Harper looks ridiculous with that headband, and is still inconsistent shooting the ball.
