This is the letter I sent to the league. As a long time Magic season ticket holder, I was appalled at the action by the officiating crew during game 2 of the ECF in Orlando last night. Obviously the Joe DeRosa ball throwing incident has been well documented, but there are other incidents I would like to highlight. Bill Kennedy seemed to get his feeling hurt when he called a third foul on Vince Carter. When Carter is all the way across the floor by the Magic bench, he made a whatever hand gesture the Kennedy took great offense to and assessed Carter a technical foul. Later in the game after, the DeRosa incident (which btw is one of the most unprofessional things I have ever seem an official do and if that were a player they would be crushed by the league) when JJ Redick called for a time out with 3.5 seconds left in the game, Kennedy then gets verbally engaged with another fan in the front row. It was a rather spirited and animated conversation. We all know, nothing good can come from this type of interaction especially given the circumstances. These two officials have shown that they cannot handle the postseason atmosphere and need sat down before a bigger incident unfolds at the feet of their unprofessionalism.

I don't have that much of a problem with it. Looking at the list, it looks like it sets up for Celts at 2 and the Lakers at 1. The Lakers are the champs who beat (while be it a different line up) the Magic. While I think the Magic got better and deeper, so have the other two. If all teams stay healthy and perform as they should on paper...I believe we will be facing the Celtics in the ECF and then the Lakers for the title, so I wouldn't bury the Sentinel for this. (there'll be plenty more legit things to bury them for later)

I immediately stopped listening to Bucher, when he said something to the effect of losing Grant Hill to PHX and and getting Rashard as a free agent would hurt the Magic because we won't have the outside shooting of Grant Hill. Say wha???? Simply put, Bucher is a buffoon.

Yeah i was refreshing and refreshing and nothing so then I went back to the e-mail and clicked the links at 10:04 and got nada for all three games. I ain't blame this on the organization though it seems like more shady business practices from the evil empire known as Ticketmaster.

I was there last night and 'witnessed" this completely bush league act by lbj. It really was completely classless and intentional and I'm glad Bianchi mentioned it among other things in his column. If you haven't read it, do so. Great read.

Hopefully this puts the pressure on Brighthouse, since that is their big bargaining chip against broadcasting FSN. If only the NFL network would stream those games then we might get some action on that front too.

Yeah I can't get behind you on Stan over Byron last year. But with a full season with the team under his belt, I am imagining and waiting for even bigger things from SVG this year to truly be deserving of the honor.

I can't find any official word. If I had to guess it would be no, since it is a meaningless exhibition game for the Turkish team as they did not qualify for the Olympics.

on the last redesign, the jerseys weren't introduced till shortly before training camp. I don't know about previous changes but that may be the timetable to look towards.
