  1. Well I think I'm going to take a little nap before all the excitement gets underway tonight. I'm going to use a lot of energy screaming, yelling, jumping, and waving my towel in the middle of my living room tonight. Oh, Oh it's MAGIC...You Know...Never Believe it's not so!!!!! This keyboard does not allow me to express the joy I am feeling right now. HEEEEEEERRRREE COME THE MAGIIIIICCCCC!!!!!!
  2. quote: Originally posted by gporter:Freedomfighter420, why tape an NBA Finals game, and expect to not know the outcome by the time you watch it, especially since you don't seem to be living in a shell, and that would have to be the case if you don't expect to find out the score. That way I can watch it later on like it was live. I avoid all phone calls, texts, and e-mails until after the game. I live in Michigan so the NBA finals isn't that big of a deal around here. Plus the Wings are in the Stanley Cup Finals so nobody is talking about the Orlando Magic. And it worked. Got home. Ran to the T.V. shut it off...pressed rewind and walah!!!! So why wouldn't I tape it?
  3. Finals win #1 for our boys tonight. I feel with a win tonight we are right back in the thick of things. I have to work tonight so I'll be taping the game. Hope and pray with me that nobody mentions the score at work. I will kill somebody if they slip up and tell me who won. Tonight, Tonight, Tonigggght!!!!
  4. Seeing this post just made me even more nervous. It's starting to finally hit me....AHHHHHH.....THE NBA FINALS!!!!!!!!!! LET'S FINALLY GET OUR REVENGE ON THE LAKERS. GO BOLD AND BLUE!!!!!
  5. I haven't posted in a long while. But I felt I needed to post on this historic day. It still hasn't totally hit me yet either. I think it will all start to kick in once I hear the starting lineups. I knew this team had potential, but I will admit I did not think we would make it to the finals this year. I have my apartment all decked out with all my old Magic gear...jerseys...shirts...flags..posters. I have been sporting my Magic car flag for over a week now. I get the strangest looks for passerbys (probably because I live in Michigan lol). The time is now. The chance is here. Time to shine. Let's make this a magical championship run. I BELIEVE IN MAGIC!!!!!

  7. Let's put em' away in this last 4 minutes of the first boys.
  8. That trade is looking even better after seeing this first half so far. Rafer is looking comfortable already. He can really dish that ball...and the man can shoot too!!! My total confidence in our team is officially back.
  9. I think we'll stay right where we're at. No higher or no lower. I just hope to God we don't end up playing Detroit in the first round. And the way it's looking now, it's very possible that it could happen that way. My confidence in this team is back now that we acquired Alston.
  10. I think it was a good deal. I am so relieved that we have a solid, reliable starting point guard for the remainder of the season. We do lose some depth in the front court though. Now we can't afford to lose ANY of our big men. This gives me hope that we can again make a lot of noise in the playoffs.

What a trade Otis what an ignorant thing to say... I thought it was more of a truthful thing to say, not so much ignorant. nope, definitely ignorant...Lue bad as always = you arent as informed as you should be when throwing out blanket statements as the aforementioned...it's all good though, you're probably just blinded by disappointment with the teams play this evening... Blinded with disappointment indeed. I need to give him time to mesh with this team. Just venting frustration more than anything.

I mean, I know he's not the worse pg we could have picked up....but I just wish we would have acquired somebody else. That's all. Sorry to sound so harsh.
