I think we lost some of that when we lost Ingles and to some degree Fultz despite his issues. We are developing our two stars, AB, Goga, Cole, Jett etc etc. We haven’t added anything to boost us in any of our weaknesses.

Dude has been out 23 games and still is probably recovering on top of being double and triple teamed more than any other player in the league. This FO has been too passive and all those family fun vibes only last so long. 8 years we have watched season by season this offense trend in the wrong direction. Meanwhile two deadlines this FO has done nothing to address it. We haven’t had a decent PG since what, Jameer?! Fultz was ok but health and not wanting to shoot 3’s hurt us most games. What does good ol Wepark do last off season, reach for Jett and sign 31 year old KCP.

. You lose Ingles and Fultz. Despite their short comings they brought some play making and defense as well as experience and some skill set. You don’t bring in anyone but KCP. You reach for Jett Howard despite better talent sitting there. You resign Harris when you should’ve let him walk. You then lose Mo Wagner and Suggs to injury and do nothing at the deadline to replace some of that. You are developing every damn player on this roster which is the complete opposite direction of a team should go that lost the first round of the playoffs. You should be adding more developed players to get out of the first round. This FO has failed and the main reason for the season we have now. Yes injuries like for every other team hurts but this FO’s inactivity has been the ultimate factor to where we are at and why we are who we are now.

This is an emotional take not a smart or correct one.

I don’t think it matters anymore. I honestly think we have switched from getting past the first round to now let’s make that 1st round pick a little more enticing. It shows in the way we handled the deadline from a FO perspective, shows in our style of play (from a defensive mind set to iso chucking whatever shot basket ball) and it shows in our demeanor.

If Black can do this more, stay aggressive, Franz staying with this ride he’s on, and get Paolo back to 100 and his old self, we are a threat when Suggs gets back.

That torn oblique has to be still bothering him. It’s one thing to struggle but he physically looks unrecognizable.

What is going on with Paolo?

I believe Weltman likes projects. He has history of drafting guys with physical attributes and undeveloped skills in hopes to build those skills up and that’s where it stops. When it comes to building a team to win, I don’t think he has it in him to let go of those projects. He will ride them hoping he was right until they have no value whatsoever to trade. Hes a guy you bring in to dismantle and initiate a fresh start. He’s not a guy who builds a winning team. He’s like the individual who has spent 30,000 on scratch offs to win 25,000.

I suggest you look back to his interview with Robbin’s years ago. Says the exact same thing. He’s a fraud.

Got 5 seconds into and I’m done . We’ve been at the bottom offensively for 5 years. Not just at this deadline. He’s been here for 8.

That did it for me as well. If you have created such a mess that you can’t get out of it, it’s time for you step down and let someone come in who can. Maybe it takes losing someone we didn’t want to lose. Maybe it’s protecting a lottery pick and using that but you can’t just sit here every season getting paid millions to just dig deeper holes.

That’s my point. They’ve created such a mess that they admit they are struggling to fix it.

In his post trade deadline , he said that teams knew our weakness and was trying to fleece us in trade talks due to our desperation. He literally has assembled one of the worst offensives in the NBA, maybe in some time, and couldn’t make a deal because of it. That right there says it all. The levels of ineptness is another level.

Only move I want this management to do now is to move on.

Man…I miss the days when we had a FO who went for it. Didn’t need years to evaluate. Had a plan. Plan didn’t work was aggressive to find another. Wanted to compete. I miss Rich and Gabe. Those guys would’ve never sat back and just be passive as long as this FO has. Fans of this team have been more than patient. Waited through the hopeful number 1 pick selection just to not get it over and over until finally Paolo draft. Wait every damn year for a trade that helps the worse than every team in the league offense in every offensive category team just to be told they’re still evaluating. Think it’s time the seat gets hot. Real hot.

Exact same things “you” would do. If that’s his choice, that’s his choice. To even compare this to that though is a joke.

Damn shame a man makes a medical decision on his own and is judged for it.

That’s been up there. Think it means his grandma. Hour ago I went and looked and saw the peace sign. Magic content and photos of him last season in game were there. Hour later they are all gone. Only one is a photo of his son now.

So Fultz has a story on IG with nothing but a black screen and two fingers saying peace...Annd has deleted pics of him in a Magic uniform leaving only one with his son on his bday. Do we got a stew or nah?

Draft a guy who you think will dominate. Not a shooter. Giannis is a career 28% 3 point shooter. Just won a ring dropping 50 with 99% of his shots coming at the rim and free throw.

Would love to move up. Not keeping my hopes up about it though.
