Giannis is now shooting at 33% and is attempting 5 threes a game which is a career high. Averaging a career high 30ppg. He saw the need to add shooting to his arsenal. Westbrook? The guy you wouldn’t want? Really? Attacking the rim when your man slacks off is difficult to do night in night out. Fultz at some point is going to have to show he can consistently hit the 3. Not only to open things up, to make his game more diverse but also for longevity. Thing is I think he can. It’s not like EP.

All those guys can and will shoot 3’s. Not saying he has to be Curry. Just has to be able to take what the defense gives. If his man decides to slack off, he’s gotta make them pay. That’s what a first option star player does.

Not taking anything away from the game he had. He balled out. He’s going to have to show he can consistently shoot from outside. At some point defenses will force him to. If he does that, then yeah, if he stays healthy, he can be a star.

I’d definitely take SGA. I’m having doubts about Fultz. He’s got talent but I’m having doubts about him being what we hoped.

Are those 2 really pieces to build around? Specifically offensively. I have my doubts. No. Not another role player trade. A trade that we can build around for once.

Until I see Fultz consistently showing that he can shoot, I’ll remain questionable about his ability to be a go to 1st option scorer. If JI does become a 16-18ppg, it’s still not enough.

And no one is scoring on that team either. We need scoring man.

And I won’t disagree with that. There’s things that concern me with Kuzma’s game. However, one is 27, like Fournier, and the other is 23. That’s what I’m focusing on.

Because the style that Rondo plays is nearer to Fultz in some ways. This is where I think you can improve. I played it, studied it, watched it for 30 years. I’m not always right but I’m also not some casual fan.

I don’t know. Doesn’t seem to show heavily that he wouldn’t be. At 23 he’s right on the heels of 27 year old Fournier. I’m also looking at games, such as the last game where he dropped 36, where he had high usage and where he played with a point guard such as Rondo that tend to view distribution of the ball as an priority.
