    Calm Down, Dwight [HW Article]

For example Dwight gets his 16th Technical foul on the Magic's 82nd game then he's going to serve the suspension in the playoffs? Right? Also, if he did go 16 T's and get to 18 T's in regular season additional one game suspension is given. If Dwight gets T'd up in a meaningless last game of the season before the playoffs i will *gulp* vote for Sarah Palin in 2012...

OFFICAL Dwight Needs to SHUT UP Thread!

you obviously didn't watch the game. Dwight got that technical after he got a clean block on Beasley that was called a foul and he bounced the ball just barely over his head and calmly caught it. D-Wade should've been T'd up numerous times throughout the game, but as usual the officials have it out for Dwight. Wouldn't surprise me if this T got revoked though.. I'd be p-o'd if we lost by 1

He also said we are the deepest in the leauge. In Chuck's defense.. Even though I'll love it when he's proved wrong just like everybody else, he was riding us all season until the Jamison trade and that's when he turned his opinion. That being said, just because Charles Barkley says it doesn't mean it's gonna happen. Unfortunately it just means the now "zero" of the analysts that they give face time on TV for the NBA are in our corner..

So now that we all appreciate Vince now

Last year's playoffs Hedo averaged 15.8 pts 4.5 rebounds and 4.8 assists. Shot .427 from the field and .386 from the 3 point line.. Carter's career playoff averages are 25.9 pts 6.9 rebounds and 5.2 assists on .418 from the field and .332 from beyond the arc.. that's in 42 different playoff games.. to think that Vince won't bring come time for the postseason is blasphemy.. bringithomerashard, you're making it sound like Vince is a rookie that you can't trust cause he's never done it before.. he's been in the playoffs 5 times,3 of those times making it out of the first round, and honestly he was never surrounded by the talent he is now..

and the biggest mismatch when it comes to Orlando vs. Cleveland, which hasn't changed, is Stan Van Gundy is a far superior coach to Mike Brown..

Carter took time to find his groove, many of us were frustrated as hell, but he is doing fine now and seems to be gearing up for the playoffs. He can do so much stuff that Hedo can't. Sure, Hedo is taller and many if not all Cavs fans will tell you that Hedo is the reason the Magic got to the Finals last year because of the matchup problems he caused, but he is also more likely to do stupid, hair pulling stuff because he wants to be Hero Turkoglu. Carter can throw up alot of constested fade aways and kinda sleepwalk through games, but he is also more likely to catch fire than Hedo.. and when he does, he is HOT! Everything seems to go in. Hedo rarely if ever did something like that for us. Vince can drive to the basket and finish, Hedo would roll to the basket and flail his arms and scream. Vince rebounds decently and he is a good passer. I would not trade Vince for Hedo. Not a chance. Hedo is a typical case of a system player who was overpaid because the system suited him and made him look better than he is. It makes me laugh when Cavs fans go on about Hedo causing the matchup problems. It was undoubtedly Rashard Lewis who did, hence their addition of Jamison. 'Shard was soooo clutch in that Cleveland series, it was unbelievable. Also when we beat Cleveland in the ECF last year we were without Jameer, who people forget is also a Cavs killer himself. He lights up Mo Williams every time he sees him. On the thread topic, hell no I wouldn't trade Vince for Hedo now. VC is capable of going for 40 any given night still, even if you don't want to believe it, he is. And Hedo still has a 4 year 48 million dollar deal.... he's gonna be a Jerome James-Eddy Curry like player in a couple years where you can't deal him until he's expiring... You can't sit there and act like Hedo Turkoglu didn't cause match up problems for the cavaliers. They had DELONTE WEST guarding Turkoglu. If thats not a mismatch then I don't know what one is. Vince can still go for 40 any night? Are you still living in 2004? This is 2010 the guy is averaging 16 points a game. He has scored over 30 points twice all year in 59 games. Lets be realistic. We will be lucky to see him score over 30 two more times the rest of this year including the playoffs. He is knowing and playing his role in the offense.. I'm not saying he can score 40 every night, I'm saying he could score 40 on any night, and do you recall what a matchup problem it was just a month ago when they tried to put Anthony Parker or even Delonte West on Vince in that 4th quarter? And Jameer is averaging 16.7 pts and 5 assists per game against Cleveland this year, I'm sorry, I jumped the gun on saying he's a Cavs killer, but I always seem to remember him hitting clutch shots against them

I know this is probably beating a dead horse, but... meh. Talk to me again if he stays healthy until the post-season and or at least gets us past the second round of the playoffs being as how he has never been the starting PG on a team that got that far. Is it really that hard for you to say, "I'm a dumbass, I spoke too soon." I don't see a championship with this team, sorry... Buzzkill Junkie... Jameer plays his best ball against tough teams in important games.. I don't care if he ever proves his worth to you, the man deserves respect for his elevated level of play..

Why Dwight is Overrated by ESPN's Peter Keating

    I think Peter Keating's overrated...

Also, why are people asking why I'm here? Am I posting in the game thread? Or starting my own about completely unrelated topics? I'm posting in a discussion about LeBron and Kobe. Unless LeBron's stats / performance aren't relevant in response to people calling him "over-hyped"? Though I'm not a fan of Lebron or Kobe they are incredible talents.. I will admit to Lebron having a great regular season, maybe the best ever.. but I still can't stand the MJ comparisons 6 titles to zero is the only # that matters when comparing the two.. As of now Lebron's just the Dan Marino of the NBA.. as of now.. My solace as a Magic fan however in a thread like this where you want "logical" debate, is that if we took the main superstar off of the Magic, Cavaliers, and Lakers the Orlando Magic would be the best, the Lakers a close second, and the Cavaliers would be down there somewhere between New York and New Jersey

We need Barney to do this to Lebron....

I'd be much more likely to assume people hate the guy that knocked us out of the playoffs last year, not the king that we dethroned last year I say that because every one this forum talks about how they hate lebron and never kobe Right, right.. yeah, i've picked up on that.. haha, i think people just forget about the Kobe hatred cause we don't see him much.. I think Kobe gets away with more than Lebron does and where Lebron comes off like a crybaby sometimes, Kobe comes across as a punk no no no we have respect for kobe's game we hate lebron because he is always dancing, he cries and doesn't shake hands when they get beat, because he demands attention, because he try to be like jordan (throwing chalk, wearing #23, looking for jordan every second in the audience when they play the bobcats) Exactly... I hate LeBron because of his antics and how he's treated in the league. I hate playing against Kobe because he is a great great great player. Haha, I too hate Lebron more.. Not sure why you guys are treating me like I'm brand new or talking in a "we" manner like you're speaking for the board.. I'm just saying that there's reasons to hate both.. Kobe got under my skin today, not to the extent that Lebron usually does, but still.. just trying to get opinions.. didn't know the entire board just had one...
