  1. Here are Rashard Lewis, Quentin Richardson and Josh Cohen's expert NFL picks.

I chime in, but you're better off going with the opposite of whoever I select, which is really sad since I used to cover the NFL, have the Sunday ticket at my house and watch at least nine-10 games from start to finish every week:

Who do you have winning this week?

  2. The Orlando Magic will have to find a way to win tonight's game against the Charlotte Bobcats without their starting point guard.

Jameer Nelson, who sprained his left ankle with 1:55 left in Friday's win over the Nets, will have to sit out tonight's contest.

Chris Duhon will get the start in place of Nelson, who averaged 23.8 points per game, while shooting 48 percent from the floor and 43 percent from beyond the arc in the Magic's 2010 playoff series victory over the Bobcats.

  3. Here's the promotion via the Magic's Facebook page:

In honor of the Magic approaching the 300,000 Facebook-fan plateau,

we're going to give a lucky supporter two courtside seats to Orlando's

game against the Minnesota Timberwolves on Wednesday. All you have to

do is become a fan and like this status. At the game, the winner will

also receive access to the Mercedes Star Lounge where food and beverage

-- including beer and wine -- will be provided. The winner will be

selected at random on Monday night.

Here's the link to the status:

Just wanted to make sure all of you had a heads up.

  4. Few quick notes:

    - Jason Williams will be active tonight as the team's third point guard.

    - Malik Allen along with Daniel Orton will be inactive.

    - Rashard Lewis -- as expected -- will start tonight at the four.

  5. The most entertaining part for me -- which wasn't full caught on camera -- was that J.J. and Vince were shooting so-so/pretty well as they went around the horn. Then, Assistant Coach Bob Beyer called me over and said put the camera on them, I bet they make all 12 and bam, they rattled them right off. He then jokingly asked me if I could do that for entire practices.

Just shows how these guys love to turn it up when the lights come on.

And this video doesn't prove anything other than that both guys are great shooters in practice. It was never intended to change anyone's mind about how either player will perform against the elite teams in the league.

As another side note, I've heard from multiple people, that J.J. Redick is probably the hardest-working, best practice player in the league.
