    Hey everyone,

     

    Just as a heads up for tonight's game. The Magic will be giving away a number of tickets to Game 2 in order to continue to grow their social media platforms.

     

    They're having fans meet at the DigitalLOFT at Amway Center at 6:30 p.m. ET to enter to win.

     

    All you have to do is where your craziest Magic attire, costume, face paint, etc., because the tickets will be awarded to the most passionate fans and placed in a new section opened for the playoffs called the "Blue Zoo."

     

    And even if you don't get in for some reason, they'll be showing the game at Fan Fest, so you can watch outside with a number of Magic fans.

     

    Just thought I'd give you all a heads up.

     

    Enjoy tonight's game.

    The Orlando Magic’s J.J. Redick is inching closer to making a return.

     

    However, he won’t complete his comeback from a lower abdominal strain that’s sidelined him for the past 16 games on Wednesday night in Orlando’s regular season finale.

     

    Although Redick went through the team’s entire morning shootaround, the Magic have decided to remain patient and instead save his potential return for the postseason.

     

    Still, he will put in additional work tonight.

     

    "He'll probably play some one-on-one with somebody before the game with the hope that he'll practice before the playoffs," Magic Head Coach Stan Van Gundy said. "He's getting pretty close."

    I recently had the chance to sit down with Otis Smith -- well more like chat with him in the halls of Amway Center -- and ask him a number of questions, one of which was inspired by a topic on this board.

     

    Savage: The next question comes from a topic on our message boards. If you could take back any player who has been traded away, left via free agency, etc. and add them to this current team without giving anyone up, who would it be?

     

    Smith: “Well we’ve already done that, we got Turk back. That’s it. It’s already happened.”

    The Orlando Magic’s Dwight Howard was named the Eastern Conference Player of the Week for games played Monday, Mar. 21, through Sunday, Mar. 27. It marks the sixth time this season, which is an NBA-high (LeBron James-5; Russell Westbrook, Dwyane Wade-4), and the 17th time of his career that Howard has earned the league's top weekly honor.
