Magic going in for Chris Paul

I don't really see how CP3 makes the Magic any better. Especially if they have to give up some of their better players just to get him.

    OFFICIAL Lebron to Heat

All I have to say is that I just lost a ton of respect for him and I hope you guys beat the **** out of the Heat this year. Cavs will bounce back. All you need is a "win at all cost" owner and you got one in Gilbert. Lebron has always been a ****** bag and a sore loser. He lacks mental toughness and long term the Cavs will be better off. Karma eventually will come back to bite him. I realize we have a great owner, but I hope you are right about us bouncing back. LeBron was a once in a lifetime situation and he just happened to be from here which made it that much more special. Gilbert can try all he wants, but things will never be the same. I'm not gonna lie, but I have really been fighting back tears since he picked the Heat. I never would of thought someone born and raised in my hometown would betray his city like that. Watching him smile in a Heat uniform a few hours ago just sickened me. The only positive I take from this is we lost a self-centered d-bag and we now have a chance to build a balanced team. The 4 draft picks and $15 million trade exception we just acquired helps.

Ferry to resign as Cavaliers GM

I think that Ferry is an absolute moron in how he has built the Cavs around LeBron. Instead of working to LeBron's strengths which is open court fast break basketball he has instead bogged him down in a half court offense which is completely counter intuitive to what he is good at as a basketball player. Giving big contracts to players like Z and Mo Williams that do not help LeBRon at all show this. Making trades for a players like Shaq and Antwan Jamison who can't play defense and continue to bog down LeBron in a slow half court game, show it. Giving an energy player like Varejao an obscenely large contract show it when that money could have been better spent this year. And then refusing to bring in a proven playoff performer in Amare Stoudemire because the Suns wanted Varejao in the package and instead going with a career playoff choker in Jamison shows it in bright neon letters. Long story short, Ferry is an idiot who doesn't know how to build a team. He is gifted with one of the best talents to play the game and instead of catering to those talents he decided to just grab what ever was on the market to try and make it look like he was doing something. The Cavs never had the choice between Amare and Jamison. There was a trade on the table, but the Suns backed out of the trade so then the Cavs went out and got Jamison (a way better fit for the Cavs) for absolutely nothing...and i don't recall Phoenix ever wanting Varejao in that trade. If you could show me a link to an article, that would be nice. How is Amare a proven playoff performer? Before the trade deadline, he's barely even been in the playoffs. I don't even remember Phoenix advancing very far the last few years with him on the roster. Better question: How is Jamison a career playoff choker? He has always put up similar playoff numbers with his season numbers, and was one of the only players to show up in the consecutive seasons the Wizards got bounced by Cleveland. Stoudemire has had some amazing playoff performances. In the series against the Spurs a few years ago, he was averaging like 35 points a game. Also, last year was the first time in a while that the Suns failed to make the playoffs. He has tons of playoff experience. Jamison doesn't have as many experiences so it's hard to call him a choker. He definitely was a no show this year but KG had a lot to do with that. But still, the Cavs didn't have a choice between the 2... But lets say they DID have a choice and pulled the trigger on Amare. The Cavs would of had to give up some valuable pieces just for a few month rental of Amare. That is pretty stupid and I would MUCH rather give up nothing at all and get better fit for the team. The problem with Jamison this postseason was just that Mike Brown didn't know how to use him. He scored about 16 ppg getting no plays called for him. I wouldn't really call him a no show, and he is definitely not a choker. Hopefully the coaching change next year will change the way we use him.

What? The thread that Marc Acres AKA the bannonator locked just before the hilarity could ensue. Oh, and Cutestory is a evil genius of epic proportions if he's responsible for even one third of the profiles that he is accused of being. Although, he probably is that Kberto guy. NO ONE is that absurd in real life. Oh I didn't know what you were talking about at first, haha.

Cavs didn't care about this game. 2. No LeBron, no West, no Shaq against a hungry, healthy Bulls team. 3. Refs favored the Bulls big time, it was unbelievable. 4. Despite all that, we only lost by 1 point. I hope we play the Bulls in the postseason. Easy sweep.

I don't hear anybody else talk about Mo Williams being overrated and how he just feeds off LeBron. 35 points and 10 assist without LeBron is easily All Star numbers, and he's been playing like this the last 5 games (with less shots, obviously). Although it was a meaningless game...

    Bass as back-up center?

quote: Originally posted by optics: quote: Originally posted by AnotherCavsFan: quote: Originally posted by GhostAnime:Bad idea. Bass is a terrible rebounder, and there's no benefit in putting him at C. Even if you want to post him up, most C's are actually bigger than him. You people are forgetting that he's naturally a power forward. And DO NOT compare us to the Cavaliers. Ever. No one is comparing the Magic to the Cavs. I merely stated that if Hickson can play Center, so can Bass. Besides, I remember you mailing the season in a couple months ago....Why do you care what rotations your team uses? here you go anothercavsfan .. song for you Didn't you already post that in another thread? And I don't see how that's relevant since The Rock has been retired from wrestling for many years (not sure how long. I'm not a little kid like you who actually follows wresting) so the Cavs back then most likely did suck...oh and that avatar and sig says that you need to get off the Cavs junk.
