Yeah it’s unlikely. Hard to find a taker for vooch/ross tho that can send back an interesting young pg especially when guys like kanter/mathews will prob be free agents in the next two weeks. With the L tonight, miami and detroit winning, and Charlotte abt to get gasol, its clearly time to sell vooch/ross.

Best realistic suitor for vooch may be clippers. They want stay competitive this yr while preserving cap space and can use an upgrade to the polish hammer. Can we some how pry sga from them? Some variation of this trade and possibly the okc pick may work: http://www.espn.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=y95jx9nx The hammer comes back home and bradley becomes a buyout candidate.

Yeah if we’re taking Powell back for simmons we need more than wright as far as valuable assets for a rebuilding team (draft picks, young talent). Other than wright and fvv no one else looks appealing from the young guys on their roster, since OG is untouchable im guessing. They just gave up a 1st to the spurs so not sure what they can offer out of picks that would appeal to us.

I like Powell as well just the contract makes me hesitate. Not necessarily the type of player thats worth sacrificing potential future cap space based on our timeline. Maybe we can just wait Toronto out and get Vanvleet for simmons? Not sure when he’s eligible to be traded though.

Exactly. Simmons is more valuable to toronto than any team right now. Not worth taking back more salary/yrs on powell. We’d be better off getting cj miles/wright for simmons/johnson. Miles has 2 yrs at 8m left and brings shooting and length.

Nailed it guy's! +2!!! I was just reminded that D12 went 1 for 13 in his first action! Although Dwight made other contribution and didn't get ejected! LOL!!! You guys are right, he is a project and probably the best player with potential we could have drafted in that spot. However, some of the shots he took today, I wouldn't expect him to take in a pick up game with his boys.

    Orlando Summer League???

I think he will be one of the steals of the 2010 draft. Good selection by Larry Bird. Lance Stephenson has always had the talent. I'm pretty sure he was the #1 HS player in his class for a while. But being a NYC bball star, he became overly ****y and lazy. If he gets his head together and works hard, he will be the steal of the draft. He has always been a true pg too at that size.

    Orlando Summer League???

I thought the contested fade away jumper from 15ft was the worst play of the game. I think just watching that shot convinced stan that this guy is not ready to be on the court this year.

If Gortat is traded, would you trust Orton to back up Dwight for 10-15 min a game? I know its early, but he had some pretty brain dead plays out there. He does look like a huge Russell Westbrook though, lol.

CP3/Dwight would dominate, hands down. Who cares if Okafor is playing only 10 minutes a night if you're winning. Call me crazy but I'd keep Okafor if we didn't get Boozer. Put him at PF. Anything to move Shard to the 3. Definitely. I think Okafor and Dwight could be a solid tandem. But you have to question whether or not the Magic is willing to part with the much money for about 3 years (supposed to be 4. but I assume Okafor will be a huge asset once his contract is set to expire) Okafor can be traded for Hedo or Rip Hamilton IMO.

I think Okafor could be traded for a high priced SG/SF. Somebody like Rip Hamilton. Imagine a lineup of Paul, Rip, Rashard, Boozer, and Howard. That would be unreal!

Magic going in for Chris Paul

Amir Johnson for 34 Mil and Frye for 30 is an amazing joke.
  13. I think Boozer would be a good fit, but the only problem I see is that he seems to be one of those guys that only plays his best during contract years. The years in between, he has been injury prone and less effective overall.

The Official "trade for ____ ? Thread"

GS just drafted Stephen Curry, which is essentially the same player as Ellis. I've been out of the Bay Area for 2 1/2 years now, so I've been out of the loop on Warrior basketball, but I seem to recall talk of the Warriors wanting to move Monta, especially now that they have Curry. They are a rebuilding team, which could mean that Vince Carter's expiring could be appealing. Am I just completely off my rocker here with thoughts of Monta Ellis? Is there some potential in a deal like this? A Monta/Jameer backcourt would be too small and never work, he makes too much money, and he has a reputation of being a selfish player with a poor attitude. I would like Anthony Randolph though. Getting him, might be worth taking on Maggete's contract.

We pay you whatever amount you desire (for the most part), and dont hold you accountable for it.. We are just happy you are in a Magic Jersey, actually producing is up to you, but we wont be mad if you dont. I WANT A FREE AGENT for once who feel's they deserve MORE money because of the talent & dedication they bring T Mac blew up once he came to the Magic. Went from talented young player with potential to All NBA first team.
