I am rather concerned with a possible trade with the Lakers. Seems to me that we would be trading one malcontent for another with bad knees and a head case like Metta World Peace :huh: Are these the kind of players that Hennigan said he wanted here? This franchise has before experienced the "how are you gonna keep 'em down on the farm after they've see Paree?" syndrome and is facing it again as well as the super player with bad wheels debacle. Should we go for the trifecta? I'm worried. Can someone make me feel better about this trade stuff?

From the beginning I have thought this was a Shaq Junior situation. One that Orlando will always be cursed with. You draft a raw talent, give him the opportunity to develop his game and in a few years he decides that this dried up little pond is not big enough or glitzy enough for him. Once they get that desire for the bright lights and show time it doesn't matter what you offer them they are gone. Oh, they will try to make out like they aren't the bad guy, like Shaq claiming that the organization low-balled him with their first offer. Dwight is using the tactic of claiming to want to stay and making all sorts of non-commital BU*****T comments for the same reason. Only knowing Dwight through the media, it surprises me that that he turned out to be so shallow. I think his new scumbag agent is having undue influence on him since (I heard) he will not get his 15% if Dwight stays under his current contract. (Can anyone verify this?) I think the ball club has tried to get the pieces in place to give him some help but hasn't been very good at it. Gave away too much and paid too much for players on the downside of their careers. But that is another subject. One last thought. If the Magic trade with the Lakers (Bynum) or the Nets (What's his name), how long are the players acquired going to be happy coming from a large market to Orlando? I vote to get what you can and move on.

Tough loss but we hung in there which is encourageing. I would like to see more ball movement. I thought the refs did a pretty decent job but can anybody tell me why they swallow their whistles when Garnett mouthes off to them? On one foul you could read his lips ..."that's b...sh.." directly at the ref.......no tech. Another time when called for a foul went off pretty lforcefully at the ref....no tech. And what is this high school stuff of intentionally bumping into opposing players after the whistle blows? Garnett, in my opinion, is a very talented basketball player but is just a high school punk that never grew up.

I agree that our inability to make the outside shots sunk us despite the bad game from Gortat. When most of your outside shots come off the front of the rim it usually means tired legs. Still gave it a good effort.

I would put Nick's jersey up there and Dwight's when he is through. Thats all.

I'm no pro at this but I have been screaming at the TV since the first game of this series...PUSH THE D**N BALL. Nelson walks it up almost every time and allows the Celtics to set their defense and actually get a little rest. The Magic got several easy baskets by pushing the ball up the court and I beleive it took a toll on those old Celtic legs. Do you think fatigue had anything to do with PP bricking those two open 3's in the overtime? Both he and that punk KG were sucking wind in the 4th quarter and the overtime. Yes , VC had another terrible game....the last 5 times he touched the ball resulted in 3 turn overs and two bricks. This is our closer?
