I’ve always been intrigued. Things he does, looks so easy for him and very advanced at this stage of his career. I don’t know about what’s upstairs but my intrigue has never left. If we trade down and pick him, I think that’s the most exciting scenario for me. Same way I felt when we drafted Dwight.

I’m starting to wonder if we’re not attempting to trade down a few spots and everything with Paolo, the process, etc is us trying to get it done.

Kinda why I want to grab Sharpe. But Chet seems like the type of guy who may have looked silly one time then works to never allow that to happen again.

I don’t think Beal at this point is coming here. He’s going to a contender or to a place that’s on the cusp. We aren’t in that stratosphere.

This is the first draft I can remember where I have no clue who to pick. Usually by now I have an idea. I think that’s the intrigue with Sharpe and if Weham selects him, I’m on board. He’s the guy you might be afraid to select but also could be the guy you wish you never passed on. Jabari? Love his shot and his mentality but can he diversify his offense. I mean if he can be a mold of 6’10 Kawhi that’s fine. You can live with that all day even if Sharpe is that f’ing good. If he’s Shard Lewis, IDk. I’m not sad but not thrilled. Chet? Dude is analytical dream. What if he has more to his game offensively? What if he gains enough strength to be such a force? Banchero...I mean he’s what we’ve been missing right? Improve that 3 point shooting to a more consistent level, Mosley get him to become a defensive force, you got an potential multi all star. Eye test wise I see Sharpe and I’m blown away how advanced he is offensively. He makes it look so damn easy too. I just don’t know about what’s up stairs but if Mosley, who’s biggest attribute is development, can develop this kid? SMH. This IMO is a very important draft for Weham.

Yup. A less stable Bulgarian Split Squat. Heavy weight is not needed for this. Combine his weight, the 50lbs (two 25 db’s) and the lack of stability, he’s essentially squatting all that on one leg.

I don’t think Chet comes here if he’s angling elsewhere unless there’s a deal with OKC which is unlikely IMO. My guess is based on what Weltman said when we won the draft when asked if they had to pick now, do they know who they’d pick, and he said yes, I believe Chet is the pick.

BBiq was solid. Think it was more cultural. More of his personality. He’s had some good seasons in the euro league. Just think the NBA wasn’t his fit.

This not an opinion. If he stays consistent, gets his diet in check, he will make gains within 3 months. Is he going to be the next Larry Wheeler? No but the body will always do what you tell it do through diet/weight training. And I got news for you, they are all projects.

Looks almost identical to him too. He use to tell me all the time things. Remember him telling me about Dwight and how his cuz and others just were fed up with his childish behavior. Spoke about rumors etc. Fun times.

He can make a lot of gains in the next 3 months. Not concerned. Glad he’s putting in the work.
