Yes we need shooters we all know this! Carter Jr for sixth man of the year? Lol

https://www.si.com/college/gonzaga/basketball/nba-trade-rumors-could-former-gonzaga-teammates-reunite-in-orlando Here you go on that rumor. Maybe we could get him and Tyus Jones? That would be a decent move for bench shooting. I’d rather go for a big fish or at least a starter that can shoot personally.
-
I like the fake shooter label as well. We miss Ingles a lot with the second unit.
-
No I have said they both aren’t good and shouldn’t play. I think you will be happy at the trade deadline man. Everyone sees what you see. We have assets and two stars to build around now. That is the main difference this trade deadline. Also management wants to make the playoffs for sure this season. in the past that wasn’t the case. Things do change season to season. Fit with Paolo and Franz is the top priority.

Building the German National Team would be interesting. He has been regulated to the bench lately. Probably wouldn’t cost much at all. You are right about the shooting need though and he doesn’t address that much. I still think one of Portland’s Gaurds would be a better fit. Brogdon would instantly help us. Unless we want to go after a star like Mitchel or Murray.

Pelton gave New York an A- and Toronto a C. Considering what Memphis offered for OG last Year it seems like a disappointment to me.
-
It would be great to have him back healthy a few weeks before the trade deadline. We need to see how him and Carter Jr fit with the team going forward.
-
This is the point I was trying to make Fan. We need the right shooters not just some random guys off the bench. CT is a better writer than I am. I would like at least one 40% shooter in the starting line up personally.
-
I thought you wanted shooters lol
-
So what make you think they will make any moves to get shooters? This is the first season we’ve been good enough for it to really matter. Every other season they have just been accumulating assets and draft positioning. It’s team building time now in the rebuild. A few years ago in The Vuch era for example we never got to the free throw line. Now that’s a strength with these players. The shooters you want have to fit our current group. There are a lot of bad players overall that can shoot obviously.
-
Well I guess Masai didn’t get the 4 first round picks for a role player he thought he would. Those reports always seemed crazy to me. OG is good but he isn’t an All Star.
-
Because we are actually a decent team now and not trying to tank games. Our defensive identity is not fools gold. At this trade deadline or the summer they will add shooting. We have a ton of assets to make moves. We don’t need to draft more young players. Great job by the front office drafting and building this playoff team. They are not stupid and I’m sure they see the glaring weakness on the team like we all do.
-
My least favorite are The Heat fans chanting let’s go Heat.
-
He is Lou Williams Jamal Crawford type. He is sixth in The NBA in scoring off the bench. I’ve never been a huge Cole guy but he’s playing his role this year and his contract isn’t bad.
-
Atlanta gave up 3 first round picks for him so probably something decent. Carter Jr, Howard and 2 picks maybe? He will be wanted by a lot of teams I’m sure.
-
I think giving WCJ 10 more games is reasonable. If he doesn’t fit like DJ said he will be a good trade chip.
-
No more Caleb please Mosley. Yikes
-
Haha to funny. Junkies not impressed unless the last name is Sharpe j/k
-
He would be a good fit. He fits our timeline also. He did get into it with Paolo during that summer game in Seattle. Probably not a big deal though they are professionals.
-
What does the board think of Bogdanovic? He’s 34 but provides a lot of shooting and scoring and is definitely available.
-
Doesn’t seem like it lol Haliburtons quotes about Franz and Paolo were much nicer.
-
He would be a great fit and not break the bank.
-
Great win. Go Magic. Happy Holidays!
-
There is no way it would take Paolo or Franz to get Trae. His value is not where you think. I listen to a ton of Pod Casts and Windhorst along with The Ringer guys have talked about it many times. In order for Trae to be successful you have to play to his style. He is extremely hard to fit on a team. He is also awful defensively. If Atlanta trades him they would want draft picks as they’d be rebuilding completely. I think he would come cheap relative to his stats.
-
In fairness I did want to draft Trae. But now that I have watched him a few years my opinion has changed big time. I don’t think he will ever win in the playoffs. I think that Eastern Conference Finals run was fools gold. I also think he would not be fun to play with at all. Definitely just my opinion he does put up good stats. He could be had fairly cheap though most likely.
