The Magic proved me wrong, I admit. Lost 3 straight games by and average of 4 points. In these 3 losses, Paolo committed a total of 15 turnovers, good for more than a dozen points for the other teams. Paolo owes his teammates to play better, much better. Wish that the free agent (Klay Thompson hopefully) that we sign this year explains him how other teams play him and forced him to commit these errors.

FOR NO REASON, THE STAGE LAST NIGHT SEEMED TOO BIG FOR THE MAGIC.........NOT FOR COLE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! MIGHT BE TIME TO INSERT HIM AS A STARTER.....AT THE END OF THE DAY THE STARTERS ARE THE PLAYERS THAT TEAMS RELY TO WIN GAMES. TEAM NEEDS A PG THAT CAN CREATE ASSITS (5 PER GAME / 36 MPG), SCORE, SHOOT 3'S, REBOUND AND REFIEF PAOLO OF HANDLING THE BALL SO MUCH.

I COULD BE PROVEN WRONG..... BUT THE MAGIC AS THEY ARE, CAN PLAY AND DEFEAT ANYONE, ANYDAY, HOME OR AWAY. I REALLY DON'T CARE IF WE ARE A TOP 4 OR TOP 6 SEED.

Let's not forget that sometimes the tree (coach and staff) has to be shaken too. Their strategy is not working anymore....tempo was too slow and passive last night, they play like this some games and it simply doesn't work. Personnel adjustments to tonight's game? Absolutely, IMO. Markelle has been ruled out already, so start Cole instead of slow and passive AB (nice player though) and give that guy #7, Kevon Harris and opportunity now that he is back healthy.

Paolo with a total of 78 turnovers (3.3 PG) as of today ranks 8th worst in the league....Cade Cunningham is # 1 with 104. If Markelle doesn't return soon I wouldn't be surprised if Cole is inserted in the starting line-up......sometimes you have to tweak things and I think Paolo and Franz, especially Paolo needs to freelance more and not handle the ball as much as he has been. Time will tell.

The Magic Survived SURVIVAL TIME #1: Went 12 - 5 with key wins over Lakers, Bucks, Pacers, Nuggets, Celtics. Here comes SURVIVAL TIME #2: This stretch of games versus: Cavs, Celtics (back-to back), Heat, Bucks, Pacers, Philly, Knicks, Suns, Warriors, Kings, Nuggets on the road, before returning home. If the Magic are 100% healthy they have a chance to defeat many of these teams and do well in this stretch = FUN !!! I hope this is the case very early in the stretch and Markelle, Wendell, Jalen and JI play inside the white lines.

Injuries a galore....the Markelle one on his surgical repaired knee could linger for a long time. So far, how many games he been out? Fifteen and counting? Never pessimistic, always realistic. I'd bet the FO is looking at late lottery alternatives. We all know that there are enough good teams in the East that can leave the Magic in the dust. Go Magic.

Only the Raptors are worst. Defense, especially by the DPY (Jalen) was carrying the team...so what happens the next couple of weeks might not be fun to watch. Go Magic.

Upcoming Games: Cavs, Celtics (2), Heat, Bucks, Pacers, Philly, Knicks, Suns. In-between these 9 games, one with the Pistons and one with the Wizards.

Recently, the high end free agents never make it to free agency, some examples are KD, Harden, Kyrie. Reason why IMO, what's going to happen IF WE ARE GOING TO TRY TO MAKE A QUICK JUMP is a blockbuster trade in which most everybody is available except Paolo, Franz, Jalen and maybe Cole and JI.

All-Star voting begins like in 1 1/2 weeks....if the winning continues, Paolo and Franz with a great chance to crack into an elite team. Go Magic !!!

The Bulls have or soon will have a fire sale....Alex could help us to be better, for sure. His contract is for this year and next @ about $10k. He is 29, a solid defensive minded veteran ( Mosley w/love him), a 2020 NBA champion with the Lakers. In the playoffs, that year, he played in all 21 games, 24 MPG. .37% career 3PT shoot.
