Great picks by the Magic's FO......they have a great process to get it done. It will be tested in the years to come as it is highly unlikely we'll be a lottery team anytime soon. What reason do we have not to trade down to draft Jett? FO wanted him to be a lottery pick or were not able to find a team to partner with?

I 2nd your opinion on 6 & 11 in any order !!! My June 5 take on Coulibaly: One of the things that impresses me the most watching the tape, is the age of the players he is going against at his short age of 18......some of them don't even have hair !!! Amen and Ausar were playing versus 16 - 20 years old......and are older than Coulibaly by 2 years. At this same age Franz went to college and played 2 seasons for Michigan.......just imagine. Incredibly high ceiling, hyper athletic. He has flaws, don't get me wrong, but the positives out weight the areas of improvements. Plus we are not asking him to be a star on day one....Paolo, Franz, Wendell, Markelle, Jalen have the responsibility to carry this team, not Coulibaly or whoever is added. With pick 6, do the Magic raise to the occasion and get him? WE ARE ABOUT TO KNOW IN A FEW MORE HOURS. GOOD LUCK MAGIC FANS !!!

Jeff Weltman yesterday in Orlando: “Character, development path, timetables for the players, how they fit into different sectors of our organization,” Weltman added. “I mean, there’s so many factors that come into play. I will say that one of the things that we’ve been very keen on paying attention to is giving each player a pathway to success and growing into their potential here. And so, that is part of our discussion as we go through the process. If we pick player X, player Z, will he have a pathway here to succeed? He is so right IMHO......this tells me that THERE ARE GOING TO BE UPCOMING MOVES FROM DRAFT NIGHT TO A FEW WEEKS BEFORE TRAINING CAMP OPENS. How many? 2 or 3 at least and drafting straight up is not considered a move.

Now that the Wizards have opened the flood gates by trading Beal (to a team that has only 6 players signed), is the Magic's FO considering for example to offer JI, Chuma or Caleb and 2nd rounder for sharp shooter Corey Kispert (24), who shot 42% from 3's last year, his 2nd in the NBA?

It doesn't have to be us...agree, but the Hornets have a good chance to add a few assets. We'll see what happens. Nonetheless....picks 6 and 11 are not too shabby on this draft.

I don't believe that the Hornets are going to pass on drafting Scoot and trading him for "a bunch" - which would be more than just drafting Miller. If they have a FO that is smart, (IMHO), they should do what the Magic did back in 1993, draft Webber and trade him for Penny and 3 1st's. In this case, for example, Scoot to the Magic for 6, 11 and Markelle.

2023 Orlando Magic Draft Preview: Scoot Henderson getting out of the shadow by Patrick Previt, 1 day ago "The notion that Henderson is a notorious ball-stopper or would not be able to work with certain players who also need the ball in their hands seems like a title that was just thrown on him because of his player comparisons. Yes, 43.7 percent of possessions came as the pick-and-roll ball handler, he certainly does most of his work out of those areas, but he was a more than willing passer. And for Orlando, although Markelle Fultz showed he can run the offense last year, it seems as though Henderson’s playmaking would help, not hinder, the development of Paolo Banchero and Franz Wagner."

It's a jungle out there CT....it's a jungle out there !!! Wouldn't you like to be "on the table" with the Magic's FO going thru all the possible scenarios to be prepared with a plan and multiple back-up plans on draft night? Their work is exponentially higher by having 2 high lottery picks in this kind of draft class.......

I think that this is something that Charlotte should consider and probably are..... Draft Scoot with # 2.........AND TRADE IT TO THE MAGIC for 6 & 11 and Markelle, and u pick.....a la Chris Webber, Penny Hardaway draft day trade. I think that this is something that Orlando's FO should consider and probably have. Leaving the Blazers smoked !!!!

YUCATAN (Mexico) – The United States put the finishing touches on their dream week, outclassing Canada, 118-36, to win gold at the 2023 FIBA U16 Americas Championship. Forward Cameron Boozer (son of former NBA player Carlos Boozer) led the way with 24 points (10/13 from the field) and 12 rebounds in just under 20 minutes and was named as the tournament's Most Valuable Player. Cameron Boozer is an elite recruit who projects as one of the top guys in the 2025 recruiting class, if not the top pro prospect in all of high school basketball. MAGIC have 2 1sts in the 2025 draft.....

These days, you "Goggle Search" The Orlando Magic and get these headlines: 1) NBA Draft Rumors: Magic Trading Up Into Top 5 2) NBA Draft rumors: Magic trying to trade up, Dereck Lively rising, Pacers like Klintman 3) NBA trade rumors: Can Magic package lottery picks to acquire a third big piece? 4) NBA Draft Rumors: Magic open to trading 6th and 11th picks to move into top 5 These are just a few of them..... I think we are guaranteed a lot of drama up until draft night and free agency too.....I take it !!!

Markelle (25 & 6 yrs experience), Jalen (22 & 2) and Cole (23 & 3) + Ant (19 & 0)....I just don't see it. Not saying he is not going to be a heck of an NBA basketball player....I really think he is going to very good but not with the Magic IMHO, at least with #6. With # 11.....maybe but doubt it.

Per ESPN's Jonathan Givony, Dick is viewed as the best shooter in this year's class by "many NBA teams." "He has elite footwork, balance and confidence running off screens, pulling up off the dribble and drifting into spot-up three-pointers with excellent mechanics and range," Givony wrote.1 day ago And like this comment about Gradey (only 19)....there are multiple more stating how good a shooter he already is. He has proved it. Disrupt the lottery and pick him with #6? I snafu that the Magic by having two high firsts will disrupt the lottery this year....maybe.
