Would I love to seen a trade, sure. But let’s not be all doom and gloom. We have a lot to be positive about. Specially: 1) we are above .500 2) We are fully healthy 3) we have easiest remaining opponents in NBA. https://www.tankathon.com/remaining_schedule_strength 4) 19 of our remaining 31 games are at home 5) we only have 5 remaining back to backs 6) We have a real All-star for the first time since Dwight (don’t count Vooch) 7) we have cap flex, all of our own draft picks, plus extras 8) Our team is very young and likes each other Because of that, I think magic finish remaining 31 games at 18-13 and have a 45-37 record. That should be good enough for 6th place and a first round matchup with Knicks who I honestly believe we can beat.

Below is my untouchable list in order of how untouchable: Paolo, Franz, Suggs, Moe, Joe, JI

I don’t see it personally. Maybe in the off-season, but doesn’t seem like a move our front office would make mid-season. I personally think they go with somebody like Tyus Jones. Personally, I would do Terry Roiser for Denver Pick, Harris, Chuma and 2 seconds. But even that feels far fetched.

This team is dangerous, when healthy. Add in that the schedule gets much easier starting in February. good things coming.

We have gone through a rough stretch and it feels like the board is down because of this. Yes we have dropped to 8th in the East, and that hurts. But remember we have the easiest schedule remaining in the entire NBA in the second half of the year (according to tank). Besides the 6 teams (12) games they listed on website, we also have 2 games against raptors who traded Pascal, 2 games against Brooklyn who appears prepared to blow it up and 2 games against Chicago who might blow it up. That’s 18 of our remaining 41 games against teams that suck or could be awful post trade deadline. This to say, stay positive because we are well positioned both schedule and health standpoint (once Franz gets back) to make a run.
