Yeah I know he was diagnosed with TOS just didn’t realize it came back. Unfortunately we need to move on from Fultz he can’t stay healthy and if his shot is this broken he’s useless to us.

I find it hilarious that Orlandoholic doesn’t think Murray is a PG. He would do wonders for this team and all this talk about his bad character is being way over blown. We need a gritty player who can create his own offense. All this Cole Anthony play, jacking up terrible shots left and right and not initiating any kind of offense is getting old.

You’re wrong he can definitely run an offense considering he was the starting PG when he was a Spur. Suggs would start at SG and Cole would be our 6th man so not sure how we would have a logjam at the SG position. Bogdanovic can play the 2 or 3 so again no logjam. We wouldn’t need the cap space this summer because the trade would address our guard and floor spacing issues. Monk would be a nice consolation prize but why wait for that to happen if we could possibly trade with Atlanta now.

I’m ok with that as long as those draft picks are within the next few years. We don’t need to bring in anymore rookies to develop. We need to balance the current roster out with guys who are proven and that can compliment Franz and Paolo. Also it would be Atlanta handing out more first round picks than us since they are the ones who would be acquiring Siakam. Regardless if that deal is out there and makes sense for us without having to give up any of our core I’d make that trade today.

I’d make that trade in a heartbeat. Gives us a real floor general who can score from all 3 levels and the floor spacer we desperately need without mortgaging our future.

I agree with you he’s our most valuable trade asset. Hopefully we pull the trigger and get our team much needed shooting.

Trading WCJ makes too much sense as it will help clear up our logjam in the front court and bring back some available assets. Let’s see if we pull the trigger and get the playmaker/floor spacer we desperately need.

WCJ not even trying to challenge Fox at the rim is unacceptable. Yet some people think he’s a better rim protector than Goga lol.

That’s the problem we don’t shoot even close to league average which is why we can’t hang with the contending teams. Defense only wins you so many games but at the end of the day scoring points is what separates the pretenders from the contenders. Are we in a great position with Franz and Paolo sure but the blatant disregard to address our shooting concerns by this front office is baffling.

We can agree to disagree and that’s ok. Goga is also a good passer, a better shot blocker, and he grabs offensive boards. Don’t get me wrong I like WCJ’s game he’s just too perimeter oriented when we don’t necessarily need that from the 5 position. Sure it’s a luxury to have but I prefer my bigs playing closer to the basket because that’s how you get those second chance points which is what this team thrives on. To be fair most guys get abused by Randle especially in the last 15 games where he’s been averaging like 27 a game. Plus that’s not even Goga’s assignment on defense so if anything it was Paolo who was getting abused by Randle. Adding on to my first point WCJ tends to hold the ball on offense longer than Goga does. Since he’s a better offensive player he tends to try and do more things on that end. Goga on the other hand keeps the ball moving and our offense is more fluid. WCJ is also another mouth to feed on offense which can be great when his shot is falling but will also hurt you when it’s not since he doesn’t play nearly as much as Goga near the basket. It also takes shots away from Franz, Paolo, and Suggs in the starting 5. The only reason I’d even consider trading WCJ is because he’s on a very team friendly contract, we have too many forwards/centers, and we could get a good player for him who can space the floor and plays a different position while getting additional assets as well. Again it’s not that I don’t like WCJ I just think Goga fits better with our starters and brings more value on the defensive end for cheap. Which would allow us to upgrade our roster and address the glaring need for 3 point shooting/floor spacing.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. Goga is a better fit for this team than WCJ. We should look to trade him for a good shooter and additional assets. Also Cole Anthony is such a liability on defense that his streaky offensive play hurts us more than helps us. The sooner we get a real point guard who can initiate the offense, play defense, and stretch the floor the better our team will be. Great gritty win tonight we needed it before we go on that brutal west coast trip.

It’s because they are relying on Poole and Kuzma to win them games. Funny you try to blame their losses on Jones lol. I don’t even necessarily want Jones but he’s better at running point than any player we currently have on our roster with Markelle being the one exception. Too bad he’s always injured or we wouldn’t even be having this discussion. You’re missing the point entirely but it’s ok.

Yes better than any of our guards initiating the offense and being able to consistently make 3 pointers. Cole is a chucker who doesn’t get others involved and is horrible on defense. Suggs 3 point shot has come a long way this year and of course his defense is elite but he can’t stay on the court due to various injuries. Markelle can’t shoot the 3 to save his life and is always hurt. AB I like his game but another guy who can’t shoot 3’s consistently. See a reoccurring theme here? I know you’re a glass half full kinda guy when it comes to this team but being realistic we need an upgrade at the guard position. Not saying Jones is necessarily the answer to our problems but he’d be better than most of our current guard rotation.

He still knows how to run an offense unlike Cole who always looks for his own shot and still can’t guard anyone.

Cole can’t keep anyone in front of him. It’s always a layup drill or a trip to the free throw line when Cole’s playing defense. Admittedly I’ve only watched Tyus Jones play when he plays against us, however he always seems to pressure our guards and disrupt them from initiating the offense.

I agree 100%! Too many guys just standing around while Paolo and Franz dribble the air out of the basketball. Coaching staff need to get more creative with their sets and get more players on the floor involved.

Who said anything about driving 1v3 into the paint? We need guys moving without the ball and cutting to the basket. When Paolo is getting doubled he should be looking to pass to the open man not force a contested off balanced shot. When they send an extra defender to help out on Franz drives he needs to look for the open man instead of forcing it. We are lacking execution on basic fundamental basketball plays. Why weren’t Suggs or JI guarding Herro when they were on the floor? He was lighting us up all game and the coaching staff made no adjustments to try and slow him down.

Exactly we should be driving into the paint and drawing contact so we can get them into foul trouble. Repeatedly jacking up 3 point shots and missing horribly isn’t going to turn this game around.
