Shoutout to Cole Anthony tonight he’s passing well and isn’t forcing it on the offensive end. Also Mo he plays hard and is a force in the paint.

These refs are determined to make us lose. It’s a damn shame the calls aren’t being called the same way for both teams.

No doubt about it because they would have just sat on their hands like they always do without making any meaningful changes to upgrade this roster.

You’re delusional man and continue to push this false narrative that everyone hates Fultz and wants this team to lose. You keep throwing around the term “mob” to single out the posters on here who won’t settle for mediocrity and clearly see the limits with the roster as currently constructed. Yes that includes us sticking with Fultz as our starting pg and not addressing the glaring need we have at the position. You talk about continuity and yet Fultz can’t be relied on to stay on the floor because he’s either hurt or can’t close out games due to being a liability on the offensive end because nobody respects his shot. If you’re content with having your starting pg unavailable every year for 20+ games and in back to backs then you clearly don’t want the best product on the floor and guys who will effectively compliment Paolo and Franz’s game.

To put things into perspective they were severely shorthanded against us last night. 4 starters missing due to injury and only 8 guys available to play, either way I’ll take the W. These are the kind of games we have to capitalize on and win if we are serious about making the playoffs.

But but but the team chemistry will be ruined and we don’t know how this team will perform when everyone’s healthy. In all seriousness we need to bring in shooters to help spread the floor. It doesn’t matter how good your defense is if you can’t make a shot, especially from 3.

This is false most of the team is below average for 3 point shooting percentage which is 36%. We only have 4 players above league average which are AB- 38%, Caleb Houston- 35.7% (both who aren’t even in the rotation) Jalen Suggs- 38% and Joe Ingles- 40%. The rest of the team is well below the league average in 3 point shooting. So only 2 players in our rotation that are shooting above league average and yet according to management and posters on here we don’t need another shooter.

Nobody is saying they feel like the world is over. Fans are just disappointed that the FO sat on their hands yet again when moves could have been made to acquire much needed shooting/floor spacing. It would have helped out this team tremendously seeing as we are dead last in 3 point shooting, yet we are determined to jack up shots from beyond the arc.

Jay is the most optimistically delusional Magic fan I’ve ever come across. Full of positivity over the years and usually wrong about his predictions, gotta love it lol.

I love how some posters on here are content with mediocrity just because we finally barely have a winning record. We clearly lack shooting and there were plenty of guys who were available for 2nd round picks and expiring contracts. What a waste lol.

Windhorst reporting we are active in trade talks and are looking to bolster our guard rotation. I’m hoping this is true and something actually happens!

Yup people on here think regular season games are the same as a 7 game playoff series. It’s a completely different style of play and atmosphere. Teams go over tons of film before and during the series and know guys tendencies. Without spacing our flaws are going to be exposed and whoever we play will just pack the paint and dare us to shoot.

Great win. Props to the whole team for fighting and pulling out the W! Also shout out to Paolo for making consecutive free throws to ice the game.

Yeah not sure what’s up with our defense we are just letting them light us up from outside and down low. On a side note I’d like Cole Anthony gone, he has such a low IQ and his offensive game has completely disappeared. Doesn’t know how to effectively initiate the offense and plays matador defense.

Teams completely healthy but it’s the same old story wash, rinse, and repeat. How some people on here can’t see that we lack shooting in the worst way possible is pretty baffling to me. It will be disappointing if we don’t address our 3 point shooting by the trade deadline because it will be our achilles heel all season and will limit our chances of being successful in the post season if we even get there.

I ran out of upvotes but this is a +1 from me. We’ve been the bottom feeders of this league for far too long and just because up to this point we’re a few games better than our record last year doesn’t mean we have to settle and be satisfied with that.

I get you and I agree this season has already been a big improvement over the last few years of terrible play. However this team is definitely better than just being a slightly over .500 team. I see the potential this team has and get frustrated that management hasn’t addressed the glaring needs we have. Then after losses like last night and that Memphis game it just leaves a bad taste in your mouth. Makes you wonder how many more winnable games is this team going to lose. Which will be the difference between being a playoff team or a play in team.

That’s on the coach making the right personnel adjustments and drawing up the right plays. However according to Jay you need to be able to predict the future in order to know Mosley is lacking in that area lol. If we ever get a real pg who you can rely on to make open 3’s and is not injury prone this team will take the next step. Until then performances like last night will continue to happen. Sadly I don’t see us making a trade for that pg which is going to lead to another disappointing season, hope I’m wrong though.

The reason he was awarded 4 free throws to make 3 was because they called a shooting foul and a flagrant 1 on the same play. Not sure though why he was given 4 chances to make 3 as I don’t think I’ve ever seen a call like that made. He should have only had 3 chances to make 3 free throws unless refs are just making rules up on the fly now.

I don’t mind Mosley as head coach but we need an assistant coach who knows how to run a better offense. Mosley’s X’s and O’s are seriously lacking. We also need a real PG that can stay healthy.

If Mosley is serious about winning this game he needs to put JI back in. Playing 2 more minutes isn’t going to affect the minutes restriction the coaching staff put on him.

He definitely would have been able to get guys better looks and play better defense. What Cole Anthony’s doing out there is criminal.
