This, along with Fultz’s maintenance, is bad on so many levels. Young guys, and young teams, need consistency. Very tired of the situation with these two specifically.

It’s just a *****in joke, and a slap in the face to fans who pay their hard earned money for this team. We’re sitting our two highest paid players who ARE NOT INJURED. what’s the pint of this crap. We need to find out if they can withstand the rigours of an NBA season, by continually sitting them out we can’t gauge that and if anything it makes them more prone to injury. At it wits end . We’re not serious about winning. Haven’t been since Welt took over if we’re being honest.

I am 100% with you on this fan. They shouldn’t be in the rotation unless there are major injuries.

I would seriously pull Cole from the rotation as well once we’re healthy. He’s been awful all bar first 10ish games of year. I’m ready for him to be traded. Year 4 and he is still a black hole on offense and a turnover merchant.

  3. How good is it to finally bring our rookie/s along slowly and not throw them straight into the fire. What Amen was tonight was what our rookies were previously. Difference between winning and losing. Shout out to Cole, I love that guy. He was put on this planet to get buckets. 13 mill a year is a bloody steal. I’m irrationally high on what this team can become as soon as this year.

Kelle is fantastic tonight. Just wish he would get rid of the waist high shooting. Sometimes he will shoot it like he used to with his hands high and it looks pure. I just don’t get it.

Me either. It’s like when he can’t think about it his shot in pure, then at free throw line or 3pt line when he’s open he goes back to that weird form. Rest of his game is insane though, we just gotta hope he keeps improving that shot. Just needs to knuckle down and nail that mid range even more.

  5. We’re past the small sample size for Cole now. He’s barely an NBA player, his one thing he’s meant to be ok at is shooting, and he’s one of the worst in the NBA. His  defending is a liability. I think we move Him, Bamba and Ross on as we have the assets to build a roster full of good defenders. Having these players on the court just break down your defence, absolute traffic cones. Hard to watch them.

Going back to the trade when the Ibaka experiment failed, what a debacle. Henny traded for a non star on a one year contract, mistake number one. Then knowing he is probably going to lose him trades him to Toronto. While Ibaka is not a star, he is in his prime and helped Toronto win a chip.

So what does he get? Well first the Raptors have two first round picks in the next draft. So Henny gets the later pick. It was later traded away by Welt/Ham. The rumor is they didn't want to pick anyone in that spot because OG Anunoby was already gone. Picked two spots earlier by those pesky Raptors who wouldn't give us that first for Ibaka.

Then he gets to negotiate a player in return. We got Ross, who at the time had the same player profile he does to this day. Streaky shooter who doesn't pass, rebound or defend. Look it up it's on his draft profile and player comps.

Players we didn't get; Pascal Siakam.....a player i remember a ton of people on this forum wanted. And he was a rookie.

Norman Powell, another guard that at least developed into a better player. His best years were much more consistent then Ross. I think i wanted him, hard to remember.

Jacob Poeltl. We were trading them Ibaka, a small ball center. It stands to reason we could have gotten a center back. Oh but we had two already thanks to that awful Biyombo signing. Who became a free agent after his epic run in the playoffs.....in Toronto. They let him go because they had Jonas and Poeltl. Those two were involved in the trades for Gasol and Kawhi. Maybe if we had got Jacob back we never draft Bamba and go for a point guard instead.

Speaking of point guards we still had ***** all for one on that team. Meanwhile Toronto had three of them and then got an undrafted player named Vanvleet. Sure Corey Joseph and Delon Wright would not have changed the buddy ball team much, but honestly would have been better. Ross was great on that one playoff team as a 6th man, but he didn't allow Gordon or even Vucevic to develop. Wright and Delon are still kicking it in the league. Meanwhile Ross has been useless since 2019 and DJ had that one good year and has been useless or out of the league.

To make it short, Toronto's Gm took us to school. Ross sucks. Too many games he has had to show anything the last two years, he could be on a playoff team but can't even bother to have one or two good games.

    Rant over.

Great post. 100% bang on. I just can’t watch him anymore, he must suck to play with. He’s the worst type of vet to have with a young developing team, doesn’t pass, plays zero defence and jacks up the worst shots early in the shot clock. People been asking to trade him for years, but I don’t think any team has been willing to trade for him. And why would they? He’s in “the worst player in the league” territory now. TBH he prob has been since 2019. Just get him off the team in any way possible please Weltham.

Absolutely. He would be a huge liability on a playoff series, but he's so fun to watch...

Maybe? Maybe not? But we need to do all we can to develop this man and improve his defensive side. His offensive prowess is almost unmatched in the league. It’s amusing that there is still some negativity on Bol, he’s basically a rookie. He has his warts sure, but what if he was a good defender? He would then be a better Giannis right? Let’s ride the bumps with him because if he keeps improving he can be a legit big 3 with Franz and Paolo. Then we also going to have former top 5,6 picks etc  as role players off the bench. It’s wild when you think of it. We’re about to be loaded as hell as soon as next year.
